Hardly representative is it, what did they do, contact every bouncer in the UK. A guy Michael from Poland is a bouncer here in Edinburgh at Espionage, he's 7 foot tall and is stacked like a shithouse. The other Pole bouncer at the club Mariuzs is about 6 foot but the most powerful man I have ever seen. I bet they never got the call.
Should be a laugh. I ****ing hate bouncers, well most of them anyway, so to see a load of arrogant wankers kicking the **** out of each other would be quality.
Generally the Leeds ones are too heavy handed, and bizarre when it comes to deciding whether or not you can enter. Me and a mate got KB'd from a place, dressed smartly, sober as judges, yet some 16 year old punk with Nike Air Max's walks straight in - a couple of weeks ago. Also - there was a fight in a bar where a Turkish bloke attacked some young lass and went after some guy with a blade, he cops a bit of a beating from some vigilante, yet he gets complimentary tickets and the girls and vigilante get dragged out and barred. Funny old place - though the bouncers in Newcastle and Liverpool seem decent enough to me.
I'm gonna text my mate and try and get him to enter, although it's not his sort of thing. Would be interested to see how he did.
Never seen any bouncer action except for them running to a situation but bouncers have been decent with me. Got let Into places a few times wearing trackie pants when they had a dress code.
The bouncers in Romford are *******s. A kid died a few months back at the club I DJ at occasionally, apparently he was drunk and misbehaving but ejecting him would have sufficed. Poor guy. You cannot tar them all with the same brush though. I've encountered some decent guys on the door in the city, the clientele are a tad more sophisticated there too I suppose.
