Ya , McGonagles pushing on a bit now and has probably never been able for the upper echelons of European competition. Was surprised our heavy got beat, I rate him. Didnt see that fight though

JJ Nevin got robbed ( well in my opinion robbed )

 

He won. In the semis and guaranteed bronze, beat the reigning Euro champ :yep

Luke Campbell lost to a Turk, robbed apparently (the tournaments in Turkey)

 

Good stuff, cheers mate. Shame about Campbell though, he's been in great form this year

 

Martin Ward lost in the quarters, Andrew Selby and Fred Evans in the semis. GB guaranteed 4 bronzes and the main man Anthony Joshua has his QF coming up :happy

 

Ireland only have 2 medals, down from 5 last year although 3 of the medalists from last year didnt travel. Also JJ Nevin was flat out robbed. good to see its the young lads medaled though, both past world junior medalists. Not as excited bout the Worlds now as I was though. Could be very tough considering some countries only sent shadow squads to these Euros plus you gotta factor in the rest of the World too
