    Great to see Tom in the finals, hopefully going one better than last year and take the gold, see the step up in weight has done him well.

    Double gold for Ireland with Ward and Moylette winning convincingly in their respective finals today,looking good for the Irish squad for Olympics.

    1505: BOXING -Birtley flyweight Pat McCormack was crowned world junior champion in Astana, Kazahkstan on Saturday while Sunderland light-welterweight Isaac McLeod came away with a silver medal.

    both lads done great, mccormakc tri nations, european and world gold, runner up in junior abas

    isaac junior aba champ, tri-nations, european gold and world silver only lost 1 in 16 this season.

    pats twin brother luke also did well, quarter in worlds, silver in europeans, tri-nation gold and runner up in junior abas

    So is the worlds a team GB event or are each of the home nations represented independently?

    Straight away there is no Gamal Yafai or Callum Smith is Tom Stalker injured?

    I would think every country in Britain will be represented individually, although I could be wrong.
