Probably too late for good odds.
PS Conlon and Nevin might pair better with Katie-Odds wise like!

Gone big on round two for Enzo. So many early stoppages recently. Mcphilbin is probably on the level of Matthew Ellis and Enz stopped him in two, so...

Interesting news on the front for the Olympic qualifier the squad has been picked and there are a couple of shocks.

    49kgs: Charlie Edwards (England)
60kgs: Sam Maxwell (England), Josh Taylor (Scotland) and Joe Cordina (Wales)
    75kgs: Anthony Ogogo (England)
    81kgs: Callum Smith (England)
    91kgs: ****** Baister (England)

Notably Sam Maxwell at lightweight who has pipped in ahead of Ian Weaver and Martin Ward.

Callum Smith of the famed Smiths has moved up to light heavyweight having only just recently moving up to middle from welter.

Nobody pretty much would have to look at the development squad for somebody who would be much more inexperienced. I think the podium LHW was dropped fairly recently.

Not sure. He won the ABA's in his second season after coming runner up in his first season as an amateur, watched him box a fair few times and he is really good, he might not have as much experience than the other but he is a big fast lad who is also pretty strong and is technically sound.

With all respect to Smith I think he'd be better given the chance than a guy who was a welterweight one season ago.

Then again they have already sanctioned Baister from the North East to get a chance, putting two guys from up here in the team would be madness on the part of BABA and Aiba.

I think I might be thinking of somebody else. I know what you mean about Smith I guess they know its a bit of an off chance type selection but LHW has been a bit of a problem for GB for a while and they have gone for experience.

However with Edwards, Maxwell and Joshua they have shown they are willing to make a gamble on inexperienced fighters.

Na I don't think he is. His uncle/trainer Manny Bergo boxed though. He's come down our gym training before seems in good nick, never seen him box though. Anyway did anyone see the junior ABA's this weekend? Kid I know called Cyrus Pattinson (from same gym as Laurence Oseuke) recons he was robbed in the final.
