British Board likely to reject Chagaev

Doesn't at all surprise me. My problem is that Adamek would hve been my choice if the Chagaev fight couldn't be made. So where does Haye go from here? Will the WBA strip him even if the BBBoC declare him unfit to fight?

Might be forced into a Vitali fight from here. Either that or take his pick from Sam Peter or Arreola which would be dreadful.

 

I doubt it to be honest. If Adamek does that, it'll likely mean the Klits would never agree to fight him again which could harm his future career.

That'll be my first preference (VK seems out of the question) but I just don't see Ad turning down the Klit fight

 

From the sounds of things Adamek's got a sweet deal with the Polish stadium opening and the Klitschkos with their Germany support make more sense from that perspective than Haye. Plus with the stadium being built for Euro2012 the Ukrainian angle doesn't hurt either.

 

Rahman and Mormeck are top 10 by the WBA and Povetkin is number 3.Haye will probably choose from one of them.

 

Yeah Povetkin isn't too bad a choice. But Rahman and Mormeck are horrible horrible fights for me.

 

Yeah they are terrible but I think Haye will have to go down their list and fight someone from it.
Povetkin would be good but if Teddy doesnt think hes ready for Wlad I cant see him wanting the Haye fight.

I'll give up on the sport If he actually does fight Jean Marc Mormeck or Hasim Rahman. We get alot of disapointment as boxing fans but to see a guy go from going to take on all comers and saving the heavyweight division 3 years ago to back to back fights with one of them and Audley Harrison would make me wonder if it's worth following this money grubbing sport anymore.

 

Only last week Mormeck was saying he wants a Haye rematch aswell LOL

Haye is now in a horrible situation. Wlad is out of the question, as seemingly is Vitali. Adamek is scheduled to fight, as is Solis, and Pov disappeared last time he was due to step up.

That basically means his HW resume will likely read Barrett, Valuev, Ruiz, Harrison and a toss up between Arreola and Mormeck!

How about Vitali takes Wlad's fight with Adamek, leaving younger brother to fight Wlad in August- September? Ooh wait, this is boxing and that won't happen atsch

 

Why not? Why do you think Boente is making it so clear that the deal is for either brother to face Adamek

 

Haye should just sit out the next few months until both Klits have won their fights and then challenge the one who isnt facing Adamek.
Im sure Haye/Vitali could be made for late July/August.
