Not too many options for Haye at the minute. How about BHop coming up to fight him? There just isn't a NAME out there for him to face

Wait for official word, but had a strong feeling Chagaev's health issues would be a big stumbling block.

Probably get the 'Haye ducking Chagaev' brigade on General, but really Chagaev also looked like crap in his last fight, to be blunt, and hasn't really looked the same since the big layoff in 2008.

I don't think it would've been much of a fight, and I'm not sad if it doesn't happen.

Biggest issue is, yeah, that it leaves Haye kinda scratching around. Povetkin would do, Rahman/Mormeck real no-nos...Mormeck still struggling to make an impression at HW to suggest he could overturn the previous loss to Haye, and Hasim's pretty much shot and looking for one last big payday, I don't see any value for Haye if he beats him.

Povetkin has sacked Atlas as his trainer. He says he wants to go back to fighting like a Russian - aggressive.

    yeah a good replacement
adamek - steals a wlad fight and builds up a fight with the klitcshcko's
povetkin - gives povetkin a chance to get away from teddy atlas and will probably be a better deal than a fight with 1 of the bros
rahman - hell no but american, and beat lennox lewis so it gives a sort of revenge aspect (i know lewis cained him in the rematch but still it gives some stuff for sky to work over)
boystov - be a terrible deal for haye. boystov has some serious management behind him but. unbeaten good ko percentage.

ibragimov - [ducks a few tomatoes and cabbages] hear me out. only beaten by wlad. a southpaw, heavyweight champion same size and weight as chagaev. a fantastic replacement.......if iggy is still considering a comeback

shame the wba has forgot how to rank fighters.

Maybe they should have it in Dublin. You could get a good crowd for a HW title fight, it would be simple for fans from Britain to come over and I don't think the Irish boxing board are as strict about these things.

I think the medical issue is a blessing for Haye, it's a seriously **** fight in my opinion.

In fairness I'd do all I could to get out of this one, there's no way I'd want to face an opponent with history of hepatitis. **** that.

If other people want to do that then fine, but thats their look out.

I can't let a post go by without a dig at Haye, so I'll say that he ness to shut up talking and just fight.

Yes this fight not being sanctioned in probably good for Haye. He would have to do a better job on him than Wlad did in order to keep up appearances, and I don't think he's capable of that.

I think Povetkin is the best fight. Both young, both got a lot to prove.

Haye may wait to see how Vitali / Solis plays out. Vitali is also prone to injuries.

Haye / Povetkin or Haye / Solis would both be interesting to me.

I wish he'd just fight more often. A June fight with Wlad would be half a year anyway ... I know after the war with Audley he'd need some time off, but his inactivity is a real let down. At least Wlad is pretty active.

A fight with chagaev would be an interesting fight actually. Arreola and Adamek would also give him a tough fight. Povetkin would be very dangerous. However, Haye is only going to be hearing about the Klitschkos from fans for a long time. Personally I don't think he will end up fighting a Klitschko, unfortunately. But I'd still like to see him fight top contenders in the division.

Surely a Povetkin fight poses too much risk to Haye. I'd be amazed if he fought him before he got in with a Klitschko.

Povetkin, Boystov, Solis or Adamek are the only boxers other than the Klitschko's that I'd be happy to pay to see him fight.

Chagaev is past it. Peter and Arreola have both been beaten clearly recently and Tua is past it and struggled with Barrett.
