Love that it’s now Eddies fault that Frank sent Welborn to the slaughter.

Fast Car tried to sacrifice Hosea Burton to Bivol in an effort to get him to sign to DAZN. It wouldn’t surprise me if he also offers his head to Beterbiev as part of that deal.

As others have said, Crolla looks next up for a beating against Loma in a ridiculous fight.

Warren sending a one eyed Bruno over to Tyson for the rematch was pretty disgraceful also in hindsight.

What do you mean, they were all DARING TO BE GREAT™.

i.e. taking a fight that they've no chance of winning and thinking purely of the pay cheque.

He fits the mould of a Tevin Farmer World Title defence.

Is it any worse than someone like Yarde(Insert Matchroom fighter if that is preferable for you) fighting people well below their level and winning via KO after KO.

Surely Rockys earnins compared to Walter Gabriel Sequeira mean it was a 'better chance to take'

I agree he was not deserving of the chance but many world title challengers are not. His team negoiated a terrible purse for him.

    I’m confused
So are we only even meant to see 50/50 fights? Ofcourse canelo is a great but he came up to super middleweight to fight rocky. Rocky was payed a lot of money he would have also thought fighting at MSG is a dream come true but then he would have believed he would have beaten canelo as every boxer believes in his/herself

Bookies had rocky at 5/1 to beat zuega
Bookies had rocky at 7/1 to beat canelo

Who do you want to see canelo in with next?

Hey look there's a boxer in quite a state,
I think it's that guy who dared to be great,
We feared he was in for a royal ass kicking,
And now it appears that's the canvas he's licking,
Course he gave it a go but it's still fair to state,
He got knocked to **** but he dared to be great,

Liam Smith's 2 fights in America didn't end well either. A year ago, low rated, Gary Corcoran was another, given little chance against Horn. Gary getting the gig, apparently over Skeete. In retrospect how would he have fared, given his form this year? "Horn is made for me", he claimed, anticipating getting the call.
