I guess we all see things differently. I rate Ashley as a good prospect.
So far, in his short time as a pro, he has done quite well. His victory for the English title was about as good as it gets for excellence in movement and power in both hands. And the battle for the British title was the perfect medicine to show that he can go the distance in a title fight.

fury defo growing on me. wasnt fan of frochs before kessler. his incessant whinging and bitching since and inability to face up to the fact he lost has put me off. sexton got hios arse kicked and seemed tp bel, ieve he won.

cant stand degale. hopefully see him get spanked soon.

**** fighters of the past that annoyed me, I have spoken enough about them already.

Fighters that annoy me right here & now?

John Murray. What an arrogant wank of a man who has had a nice handful of gifts to keep his unblemished record. Git his ass handed to him by a mexican roadsweeper & al hemidi so bad & somehow still walked away with the W. Called out Ricky Burns, & when the fight was in danger of happening he couldnt pull out quick enough, & never even said sorry.

Hes a spoiled **** who will get his soon enough, & I cannot wait.

& closer to my own shores, its Scotlands Gary Young. It ****s up me up admitting this, cos hes close pals with Craig McEwan, who as everyone knows I ****in adore here.

However, Its all about opinions & IMO Gary Youngs right up there with John Murray. He got the biggest gift I have ever seen against young McMillan, & all he did was gloat afterwards, & wouldnt give the kid a rematch. He chose instead to fight a danish nearly man & got destroyed in a round:-( Shocking behaviour for any fighter, never mind a fellow scot!

sadly for me, this open honesty hurts me as McEwan is close pals with Young, but hey. I wouldnt be me if I didnt tell it like it is. Unlike most here, I cant do sucking up just to keep everyone happy:D

Ashley Sexton comes across as a twat. He got hammered by Bayaar and was gifted a decision and then was a complete noob in the interview afterwards - unlike Bayaar who was remarkably tolerant.

*Who is hating on George Hillyard. **** sake that is pathetic. Hillyard is a diamond bloke and good honest pro:good

I never got the Hamed thing.

Eubank was as aloof as you like at times, but I took to him, Naseem Hamed I just never did.

My dad's from London and I spent a bit of time living in England as a teenager.
I don't live in the UK but I think the UK boxing scene is pretty interesting and follow it as best I can.

The only British fighter that annoys me ATM is Haye. Basically, it's a simply thing that he has a belt but is inactive. Even if he isn't fighting one of the K brothers, he could be fighting more often against decently ranked HWs. Haye/Povetkin would be the fight I'd really like to see go down.

The trouble is I know something like Haye/Povetkin just isn't going to eventuate. Either is anything else involving Haye and anyone a notch above a faded Ruiz. The WBA HW belt has just been a mess for so long and the saga continues. And Haye himself is one endless saga ... I'm completely sick of reading about this 'maybe he will, maybe he won't' 'will he or won't he?' soap opera.

The previous post that pointed out who Frank Bruno shared a ring with but will still not go down in history as a HW belt holder was a good point. Haye's go a lot of talent and some time of his side, but I'm sure a lot of people other than me are getting seriously annoyed by his antics.

The Sexton Bayaar fight was pretty distasteful the ref let him away with murder and he didnt show any graciousness at all complaining about a draw in a fight he was outclassed in and should have had a couple of points deducted for use of the head. Him and Direll are neck and neck in my fighters i dont like list
