from the british boxing perspective with the exception of some odd megafights showed by sky no british broadcaster is showing boxing. here is the issue that i have i am a tax payer and a boxing fan so i partly fund the bbc so why the hell is it that they show some total rubbish but no boxing? its discraceful. this is were i need your help i want to know if it is possible to start a petition for a change and for bbc to show boxing and we really need to get behind it and to get as many people as we can to sign it what ios the best way of going about this?
Great point i know fight fans who have never heard of Ismael Lguna, Carlos Monzon Julian Jackson to name a few all we ever get is ali frazier leonard duran hagler, all great fighters but :|:|you can see to much of the same thing.
The argument the BBC put forward is that it is unwise use of licence payers' money because boxing is just too expensive. Plus, they say they cover it...on radio. I'd love to see the Beeb get back into it. But they got their fingers burned when they stupidly gave Audley £1 million.
