Please tell me what you recall. Obviously there were questions after the Hall fight, so what tests did he have to do for the next couple of fights. Just what you can recall. I will take your word for it.

It appears that Imperial made this statement and when put on the spot, seems to have disappeared when questioned :think

He'd have been willing to have fought Roy, if Roy had've dropped back down for him?

He wouldn't drop his WBO to fight Roy at 175, but wanted the World's best fighter and unified 175 champ to drop his belts to fight at 168?

How many times have we been through this?

Joe was neither a mandatory, or an attractive enough proposition, for Roy and HBO to be interested.

Therefore, the fight was never viable.

    1. A big money fight with Roy was never going to present itself.

    2. Frank W got completely carried away. Two of the four fighters didn't even fight at the weight. Frank's idea was based on Roy contemplating a move back down to 168, if the money was right. But Frank couldn't afford it, and then Roy got better offers. It was all pie in the sky.

 if the stories were switched, you'd be talking about how vitali had taken something that was legal to buy over the counter and that jones wasn't being honest when he said he received treatment from a doctor.

That's exactly what he'd have said.

Also, what do you think he'd have said if Roy had've beaten Kessler?

What would he have said if Joe had've beaten Toney and Ruiz?

What would he have said if Roy had've fought Mario Veit, (twice) Kabary Salem and Branko Sobot etc?

BM: Calzaghe is a super middleweight and you’re now a light-heavyweight.

RJ: I would make super middleweight for him. I’m that kind of champion. I will go down if I need to, or up to meet the challenge.

Good find. Should be well known that Frank ****** protected his investments Hatton and Calzaghe until nearly the end of their careers when they forced the issue.
