    Ward?

When I think Farmboxer, I see a giant oaf locked up in a barn petting soft furry rabbits.

All you have to do is compare their resumes to see Ruiz was miles better.

    Here we go again.

Go and look who Joe fought from Eubank to Lacy.

    It's not a coincidence.

How can ANYBODY criticise Roy's opposition, while at that same time give Joe a pass?

That's a special kind of stupid.

    1. Chris Byrd WAS NOT a former Middleweight. He had his first two fights at LHW, and apart from the final two fights of his career, he weighed in at over 200 pounds every time he entered the ring.

    2. Roy started out at 157 pounds and even fought at 154, 12 fights into his career.

    3. For the millionth time, Roy didn't hand pick Ruiz.

No, Tarver didn't get ripped off, and if you didn't hate Roy, you'd see that. Go and watch Buddy McGirt screaming at Tarver in the corner.

It doesn't matter that Tarver knocked out Roy in the rematch. Roy had already achieved everything he could by that point.

Now around the time that Roy was getting knocked out, Joe was saying the following things:

"I know I have to leave the SMW division, I've done all I can."

"I need to move up to LHW, and I think my speed can give me a huge
    advantage."

"I want bigger and better fights, and I want recognition."

    Then what happened?

He stayed and fought Kabary Salem and then re matched Veit. :good

You keep saying this, but when challenged, you can't provide any evidence.

Who did he duck? Who did he cherry pick?

    Give us all the details.

And when you've done that, you can boxrec Joe's resume from Eubank to Lacy.

Joe was a WBO belt holder for how many years?

It's not impressive, being 'The Man' in a weak division.

You are the biggest joker on this entire forum. You should be proud though, because there's lots of them.

Let me ask you two questions:

    1. In your honest opinion, do you think Joe achieved more than Roy?

    2. Who has the better resume?

Because he was a 35 year old LHW, who'd fought 50 times, and who wanted HUGE money to remain at HW.

What was Joe doing around that age?

He was fighting a reality show contestant in Peter Manfredo, to gain U.S. exposure, because he hadn't gone over earlier in his career.

I can do this **** all day long.

It's not possible for a fan of Joe's to come on here and criticize Roy's actions and achievements, while at the same time overlooking what Joe did and didn't do.

    It's ******ed.

    Yep, Joe ALWAYS wanted Roy.

So much so, that he fought in a DIFFERENT COUNTRY AND A DIFFERENT WEIGHT CLASS.

The fact of the matter is Joe beat Roy embarrassingly easily. It was almost a shutout win for super Joe. You have to ask yourself, just how good was Roy Jones without the steroids?
