British domestic HW fights, what happened after and what is to come

I have often felt the HWs in the UK get pushed too fast and can get burnt out with big fights but even with that thought there is no denying that the UK HW scene is strong at the moment.
There have been some good domestic British HW fights and very good British HW champions. D Williams was a very good British champ for example. But I was looking at some of the fights between the undefeated prospects for the British title and what happened after and the next one on the horizon

Over the last decade there has been

    T Fury 14-0 (vs) D Chisora 14-0
    A Joshua 14-0 (vs) D Whyte 16-0
    D Dubois 11-0 (vs) N Gorman 16-0

Its fair to say that since those fights in varying levels Fury, Chisora, Joshua, Whyte have all had good careers. With Dubois and Gorman it is still early in their careers.

The next British HW fight is

    D Dubois 14-0 (vs) J Joyce 10-0

How do you see this one going and what do you think will happen after for both? Or either?

    EBU title?
    World title?

It is a fantastic fight and i applaud Joyce for taking the fight

should Joyce win he should really start focusing on getting in a mando position ASAP with at least one org. He’s 33.

if he loses I can’t see a way forward, unless you have a suggestion?

DDD - won and the world is his oyster. Bring him on the fury way. European, experience, get a mando and aim to become world champ. Plenty of time

he loses- plenty time to rebuild. If he loses badly then a few soft touches, and back to attacking the rankings. Lose in a close fight he could fight again for the British when Joyce vacates

Amazing fight and a fantastic boom for British heavyweight boxing

I don't understand the Dubois hype, he's not bad at anything, but he's average to barely good at everything at best.

got to remember he’s just turned 22.

we have heard this all before about the like of fury, AJ all the way back to Ali.

he’s doing fantastic for his age and if he wins then I believe he is a future champ

British fans picked Price to destroy Fury before the Thompson debacle, Dubois gets hyped because he's big and ripped although he's nothing to write home about speed, power or skillwise.

I certainly didn’t pick price to win. Anyone in British boxing circles out with the media knew tyson was levels above.

And to be fair joe Joyce is 6 6 and looks to be carrying the same amount of muscle as DDD

I'm not saying you personally, i picked Wlad to destroy him as well. I'm just saying Fury was not the heavyweight prospect British fans pinned their hoped in.

Yes the media would have you believe that

everyone in boxing circles knew tyson was the most talented and was the real hope to dethrone wlad

I know tyson. Well knew him before he went globally I won money on the win against klit. I was backstage with him v pianeta.

or I could be exactly what you are saying. A bandwagon Brit who supported chisora against him

I dont think they did. I think the interest was higher by casuals for Price due to his big punch.
Its a shame I cant find such an old post, but I remember saying right at the beginning that I feel Fury would beat Price. I said this as not many may have seen it or remember but I watched it live on TV (Prices debut), he was badly hurt and looked in trouble by a punch. I think the ref had said break and the punch landed. That was Prices debut and I thought back to his debut when people were talking about him and Fury, thinking I think Fury would hurt Price when he lands and Fury showed a good chin against McDermott

I seem to remember Chisora being a slight favourite but could be remembering it wrong.
This is odd but I picked for Fury in that one when he went to the press conference with 2 dwarfs dressed up as bouncers because he wasnt worried about chisora. Its funny but that sign of confidence made me feel Fury would win.

I thought when Fury/Haye was first talked about that Haye would catch Fury and at first thought Haye would win, but after seeing them sitting together on Ringside (boxing program) and how Fury sat next to Haye and talked about what he was going to do. It was enough to convince me that he wasnt concerned about Haye and I then thought he would win when they were due to fight, but not at first.

I picked Fury to beat Wladimir on points.
I gave a reason as to how which was exact.
I expect I can find that prediction thread I made.
I also picked for Fury to beat Wilder on points in their first fight (made a prediction thread) and favoured Fury to beat Wilder inside the distance for the rematch when I saw the weights they were coming in at.
That I can also find and show
