I remember he had a scuffle with Chisora in the rows at a boxing card and Chisora realized he (Fury) was the crazier of the two. Fury was ridiculed by a lot of brit fans after the first Mcdermott fight which many said he lost (not to mention the self uppercut gif). He was viewed as a buffoon not to be taken seriously.

95% sure it was before the first fight, i used to stream a lot of british boxing back then. They had boxing cards every friday and saturday and Boxnation didn't even exist.

I'm not sold on Dubois yet, he hasn't shown me anything other than a pretty good jab and power. He's all offence at the moment but at some point you come up against an opponent you can't just steam roll over and that's when his boxing skills could get exposed. I don't see any defensive nuance to his game, though he's not had to show any yet to be honest and I don't like how he squares up, while it allows him to unload with power, it leaves him vulnerable too and against an opponent that isn't afraid to go at him, he could find himself easily pushed back because of this squared up stance.

I'm favouring Joyce to beat Dubois, I think he's just a more complete fighter at the moment with more tools to work with, despite being so slow. But it's a must win fight for Joyce, he doesn't have time to rebuild and a loss would see him likely struggle even more to get meaningful match ups as he isn't that marketable. If he wins then it might convince some of the naysayers that he's better than he looks and he might actually get some support behind him, because right now most think he can't make it to the top. I still think he'll struggle to find opponents though, he'll be seen as too much risk for too little reward.

If Dubois wins I think he'll be the next Brit heavyweight to get hyped as a future champion. He'll no doubt garner more attention, especially if he scores an impressive KO. If he loses then it's back to the drawing board and he'll need to work his way back, but time is on his side and people will give him a pass, saying it was too much too soon and to big a jump up in class.
