British, English and European Notices

Just had a look on the BBBofC page and found the lates rounds of notices and also had a quick look on the EBU page and the Commonwealth page and found a few interesting fights on their upcoming schedule list. I will list title and then proposed fight and then status of that fight.

Heavyweight
European/ Paulo Vidoz-Albert Sosonowski for the European is to be held at York Hall on 18th December. Possible Sky Date for that show.
British/ Danny Williams-Sam Sexton. purse bids won by Frank Warren fight will take place on 26th February at the Royal Norwich Showground.
English/ John McDermott-Derick Chisora. Tyson Fury has vacated the title due to injury purse bids called for McDermott-Chisora for the end of January.
Commonwealth/ Sam Sexton to defent title against any fighters out of a list of 14 by 31st March 2010.

Cruiserweight
European/ Dennis Lebedev-Steve Herelius for the vacant title. Purse bids on the 22nd December.
British/ Robert Norton-David Dolan rematch agreed. Will take place on 15th January at Altrincham Centre.
Commonwealth/ Robert Norton's defense of his commonwealth title was cancelled due to his opponent being a *****. To defent his title against Dominic Vea by 30th June 2010.

Light Heavyweight
European/ Nathan Cleverly-Antonio Brancalion for the vacant title to take on the 27th January at Rovigo, Italy to be promoter OPI 2000.
English/ Danny McIntosh-Tony Oakey. Due to a injury to McIntosh the fight has been pushed back with a date and at a venue yet to be decided.
Commonwealth/ Nathan Cleverly to defend his title against any of a list of 6 named fighters by 31st March 2010.

Super Middleweight
European/ Mads Larsen-Brian Magee. Purse bids are taking place on 14th December.
British/ Paul Smith-Tony Dodson agreed. To be promoted at a time and venue to be agreed.
British Title Eliminator/ Paul David-Kenny Anderson are to fight for the right to fight for the British title on 18th January at the Radison Hotel in Glasgow.
Commonwealth/ Charles Adamu-Carl Dilks. To take place on 18th December at York Hall.

Middleweight
European/ Matthew Macklin-Dimitry Pirog to be promoted by Hatton Promotions on 19th February at the Aston Centre, Birmingham.
English/ Darren McDermott-Danny Butler on 13/11/09.
Commonwealth/ Darren Barker to defend his title by 31st March 2010 once again by facing against one of the fighters from a list of 10+
EBU (European Union)/Affif Belgecham-Gregorz Proska to be promoted by Matchroom on a date and at a venue to be decided.

Light Middleweight
European/ Ryan Rhodes official challenger is TBA.
British/ Purse bids for Anthony Small-Sam Webb were tob be held on the 9th December but got pushed back to the 23rd. Contest to take place by end of March 2010.
Commonwealth/ Anthony Small to defend his title by 31st March 2010 once again by facing against one of the fighters from a list of 10+
EBU (European)/ Purse bids for Matthew Hall-Hassan Bayram on 22nd December.

Welterweight
European/ Gianluca Branco-Yuri Nuzhenko for the vacant title to be promoted by OPI 2000 on a date and at a venue to be decided.
British Title Eliminator/ Mark Thompson-Kevin McIntyre agreed will take place on 15th December at Altricham Centre.
Commonwealth/ John O'Donnell to defend his title against Phillip Kotey on 19th December at York Hall.

Light Welterweight
European/ Paul McCloskey to face Giuseppi Lauri. Deadline for an agreement is 6th February 2010.
Commonwealth/ Ajose Olusegun to defend his title by 31st March 2010 once again by facing against one of the fighters from a list of 10+

Lightweight
European/ Anthony Mezaache-John Murray. Fight to take place in England and to be promoted by Mick Hennessy on a date and at a venue to be decided.
Commonwealth/ Lee McCallister to defend his title by 31st March 2010 once again by facing against one of the fighters from a list of 10+
English/ Martin Gethin-Dezzi Higginson. Fight for the vacant title to take place on 15th January at the Altrincham Centre.
Celtic/ Gary Buckland-Ryan Brawley. Fight to take place on 19th February at the Aston Centre, Birmingham.
EBU (European Union)/ Andrew Murray-Hoang Sang Nguyen on a date and at a venue to be decided.

Super Featherweight
European/ Leva Kirakosyan-Ermano Fegatelli. Purse bids for the contest for the vacant title on 15th December.
Commonwealth/ Ricky Burns to defend his title by 31st March 2010 once again by facing against one of the fighters from a list of 10+
British/ Gary Sykes-Ricky Burns purse bids in January for the vacant title.

Featherweight
European/ Oleg Yefimovic-Andrey Isaev to take place on 20th Februay Donetsk, Ukraine.
British/ Martin Lindsay-Jamie Arthur to take place on Friday 5th Februay 2010 at the Harvey Hadden Leisure Centre.
Commonwealth/ Josh Simpson to defend his title against Stevie Bell on the Amir Khan undercard. He has till 31st March 2010 to face one of the fighters from a list of 10+.

Super Bantamweight
European/ Rendall Munroe-Simone Maludrottu on for the 20th November in Nottingham
Commonwealth/ Rendall Munroe to defend his title by 31st March 2010 once again by facing against one of the fighters from a list of 10+
British/ Jason Booth-Matthew Marsh agreed fight to take place on 5th February at the Harvey Hadden Leisure Centre.
EBU (European Union)/ Paul Hyland-David Chianella on a date and at a venue to be decided.

Bantamweight
European/ Malik Bouziane-Jerome Arnould. Purse bids on 22nd December.
Commonwealth/ Jason Booth defend his title by 31st December 2009 or he will have vacated the title. Ian Napa is the only British fighter listed on the contenders list.
British/ Ian Napa-Jamie McDonnell. Fight to take place on 22nd January at the Brentwood Centre.

Super Flyweight
British/Lee Haskins-Don Broadhurst to fight on the 11th December at the Newport Gwent Centre.
Commonwealth/ Don Broadhurst to defend his title by 31st March 2010 once again by facing against one of the fighters from a list of 10+

Flyweight
European/ Andrea Sarritzu-Lee Haskins. Lee is the mandatory regardless of the outcome of tommorrows clash purse bids to be held on 14th February.
English/Ashley Sexton-Usman Ahmed to fight for the vacant title to be promoted by Frank Maloney on 22nd January 2010 at Brentwood Centre.

I'm glad Ricky sent him packing a proffesional should have a much better attitude. A huge shame because it would have been nice to see a Commonwealth title fight involving a decent non British opponent for once but there you go.

 

No it's on the 18th a date that is free with Sky as far as I am aware. So my guess is that this will take up that lost slot and be the closing Friday Fight Night for 2009.

 

It's not definately on Sky (not listed) just a guess.
On box rec nothing has been added to the undercard yet but I did read that Gregorz Proska will be on the undercard, Matchroom won purse bids for him to face Andy Lee's next opponent for the EBU (European Union) Title but doubt that we will see him fight for the title. Don't expect anything great Matchroom doesn't exactly have an abundance of star talent and aren't known for their great undercards.

 

Hopefully but nothing listed and they haven't won any rights to promote any other title fights other then Gregorz Proska for the EBU (European Union) Title and that won't happen because Belgecham is facing Andy Lee soon. Lets face it Matchroom put on the worst cards out of all the British Promoters and if it wasn't for Prizefighter I doubt they would even have a TV deal.
