British fighter with the best level of opposition

    Which British fighter had the best level of opposition regardless of the result throughout their career? My pick would be Alan Rudkin: Olivares, Rose, Harada and Mcgowen all top level fighters plus a raft of contests against European level fighters when the European title was a much more important title

    Rudkin was a great British fighter who doesnt seem to get enough recognition on these boards

    Anybody else have any suggestions?

    if Froch gets to the final of the Super 6 he would be up there.

    Nigel Benn has a lot of names on his record. Eubank, Watson, DeWitt, Collins, McClennan, Barkley

    thats 6 world class fighters right there.

    Hatton has Mayweather, Tysuzu and Pacquiao. All 3 were number 1 P4P at some point so thats impressive.

    In that case...

    Hatton or Lennox though Froch, as said above, is getting there.

    Karl Taylors got a chance for facing best of british- hattons, witter, murray, brook, jennings, mcallistair, thaxton, magee, lynes, fehintola, theophane, heffron plus he fought clottey when he was over here.

    World scene hard to argue with 'aussie' Joe or lennox
