Was slowly tying the noose until I saw these two comments(yeah I only got a mention from Flea, good enough).

And JFT, I only started posting on the Brit with any regularity this year, which probably explains your unfamiliarity, I'm essentially a noob here.

I'll probably start mine now, and like JFT there will be no Choi bias.

 

FORUM AWARD CATEGORIES (Jan 1st - Dec 31st 2011)

- Best Poster of the Year - Really close for me, DFT and JFT(I like my FT's) are neck and neck for it though I'll side with Dave Francis because he also loves Cotto and hates DeGale. Plus, like me, he seems to be misunderstood as a **** when he just enjoys subtle trolling.

Honourable mention to SportsLeader for his self-esteem, Flea always indulged in my threads so a shout out for him too.

- Most Improved Poster of the Year - My Akhi, Laz. Oh yeah and Roe too, before Khan-McCloskey I wasn't feeling him but I think he's pretty cool now.

- Funniest Poster of the Year - Gary Barlow

- Noob of the Year - DrMo(Or me)

- Knob of the Year - Boxen

- Hugger of the Year - Dunky

- Hater of the Year - Lirva

- Thread of the Year - The Agbeko/Mares I build-up thread, without question, even if it was only about 5 of us moving it along.:yep

- ''Clubman'' of the Year - I have no idea what this means, but I'll go LP, because he's ace.

- British Fight of the Year - Walsh vs Appleby

- International Fight of the Year - Luis Concepcion vs Hernan Marquez I

- British KO of the Year - Ola Afolabi vs Terry Dunstan

- International KO of the Year - Nonito Donaire vs Fernando Montiel

- British Fighter of the Year - Jeff Thomas

- International Fighter of the Year - Tough one, I'll probably go with Nonito Donaire for the decimation of Montiel and proving himself as one of the best the sport has. The Narvaez performance was decent too, but against a criminally undersized opponent.

- Best Performance by a British Boxer Award - Khan vs Judah. Would've gone for Burns vs Kats, but both Zab and Mikey were equally past it I think, and Khan was far more dominant than the Rickster.

- Best Performance by a Foreign Boxer in Britain Award - Sai against Cox.

- British Journeyman of the year - Sid Razak

- British Robbery of the year - Cox vs Sai

- International Robbery of the year - Agbeko vs Mares I

- Duck of the year - Rickster on G-Brones.

- British Breakthrough of the Year Award (boxer who has made a giant leap forward in his career in the last 12 months) - Ricky Burns

- International Breakthrough of the Year Award (boxer who has made a giant leap forward in his career in the last 12 months) - Victor Terrazas or Suriyan Sor Rungvisai, take your pick. Both have come from rank obscurity to score some damn impressive wins.

 

- Best Poster of the Year - GazOC

- Most Improved Poster of the Year - Flea man(nearly gave him best poster ahead of Gaz)

- Funniest Poster of the Year - Flint.

- Noob of the Year - I know hes not a proper 'noob' but Gary Barlow(love him or loathe him, his services to brit boxing means he should be treated like royalty in here)

- Knob of the Year - Lirva(for telling lies about me)

- Hugger of the Year - Billy Nelson(he loves his fighters almost as much as I do!)

- Hater of the Year - Betty Swollocks(no-one does hate like Betty, the original & the best)

- Best Poster of the Year - Flea Man. Don't know how active he's been either, but I care not.

- Most Improved Poster of the Year - Dunno, don't remember Jpab being this active. He seems to be spouting off everytime I log on and usually makes sense or at least backs his opinions up with analysis. It's possible he was always of this standard though so maybe a misplaced vote for this category but **** it.

- Funniest Poster of the Year - Gary barlow

- Noob of the Year - DrMo hands down

- Knob of the Year - Lirva/Darni from what I've seen.

- Hugger of the Year - Dunky, Go Getta. Tempted to say Lazarus but he's becoming a little more rounded.
