Mayweather by stoppage on Saturday. Decision will just not do. Cotto was banjoed by Pacquaio a couple of years back so outpointing him wont do **** for Maywetaher. He has to go out on the front foot and put him away and I expect he will

I'm thinking the same mate. I cant see mayweather getting hit cleanly, but i can see cotto taking alot of punishment which will build up until he eventually folds and takes a knee, or the ref stops it on cuts.
    8oz gloves too i think?
I got mayweather by late stoppage
Its 7/4 aswell which is good odds
Mayweather stoppage doubled with canelo points is 9/2

I'm not so sure about that, it may even be possible that Mayweather might coast it in the hope of getting Pacquiao in a ring with him if you're thinking along those lines.

The Ortiz debacle aside, the last person he stopped was Hatton in 10 and before that Sharmba Mitchell.

Mosley, Marquez, Oscar, Baldomir and Zab all went the distance with Floyd. :think

This is a better bet IMO.

I really don't think Cotto is a naive enough boxer to get stopped by a 35 year old Floyd.

Yeah, Pacquiao hurt him but that's because Manny throws shots in flurries, and even then Cotto lasted right til the 12th.

Miguel's gonna make it a lot closer than people think IMO. I'd say something like a 7-5, 8-4 win for Mayweather.

I'm thinking along these lines to. Pacquiao was fighting at a rapid tempo and was fierce in their fight, and Cotto still lasted till the 12th.

I see a fairly close encounter. 8-4 Mayweather on the cards. Cotto will fight tight and wait for opportunies.
