I like the under on the price fight and will back Bute myself if the price moves...too short for me just now. As for Aud, who knows?
Just saw Senegal are 33-1 for football at the Olympics, gotta be worth a £5 e/w With their Newcastle duo!
Yeah I think it was about 1/2 for Bute. Not great but not so bad either and I think it will come in so it was worth sticking in there.
Can anyone see anything other than a Bute points victory? I know he could get robbed in Nottingham and am not convinced Froch has the skill to beat him although i'd love if he did. Carl also has had his chin tested so can't really see him going over. 7/4 for Bute decision seems good anyone think its a bad idea to go heavy on??
I personally wouldn't have a big bet on it, wouldn't shock me if Froch got the nod, it will be close either way.
As much as I love Froch I think 7/4 is very good odds for Bute decision. I just can't see Carl winning it. Bute may even be able to stop him *ducks rotton tomatoes*. He has lethal body shots.
I don't think 7/4 is that great. Wouldn't load up on that pal. If its close, high chance it goes to Froch. Even if Bute wins you could see a Dirrell decision. You're never going to get much room for error with that bet, so 7/4 doesn't justify it IMO. Bute has to absolutely dominate for that to be worth it. Plus what if Bute puts him over? Not impossible IMO, punches harder than Taylor and Dirrell who staggered him.
Yeah cheers lads, only things that were playing on my mind was Bute hasn't really been tested so it could go close and could be a Dirrell decision like you said TFFP, Bute does have good body shots but Carl is far tougher than Magee (who i do rate) who got stopped to the body by Bute. I'd say odds might change a little closer to the fight, hopefully anyway
As it happens I do take Bute by decision, but...gotta weigh up the realistic eventualities here. 7/4 is marginal. It may look brilliant in the end, I'd just be cautious with it...
I'm not so sure on Price on the unders. Sexton's a reasonable boxer, it's his stamina which has been his downfall in the past, but I can't see Price working him hard enough for him to gas out around the middle-rounds like he usually does. Price late on or points for me.
