they are missing JM Hernandez, Leguizamon and Contempomi. its a weaker team than the one we beat 37-15 in June, when we where missing all our Lions players too.

Has anybody joined betfair with the recent offer, join bet £25 and if it loses get it back. cant see anything dodgy in small print? if u lose can the £25 be broken up into £5 bets or has it to be full £25?

All online bookies have offers similar to that. I think you'd have to bet the whole 25 at once.

I've seen a couple of people here tipping Pac this weekend. How do you see the early rounds going? Do you think cotto slows him down once he gets used to the speed before Pac comes back and finishes the job?

Interested in a value in play bet option but might just watch the rerun Sunday morning :?

    2010 World Cup . . .

    Russia Vs Slovenia - 1/3
Ivory Coast Vs Guinea - 2/5
    Egypt Vs Aleria - 4/7

    Pays out at 2.93.

    Any thoughts?

    :thumbsup

Looks alright considering their at home but I'll be ****ed if I know anything about African football except that Ivory Coast have quite a few good players.

Russia should beat Slovenia, but Slovenia are a solid team. They gotta watch out for Hamsik.

how much did u you bet and how much are your winnings?

tbh i think thats a real good bet.

Egypt has a pretty solid player named Zidan (Dortmund), other than that i dont know the rest of them but Egypt seem like a solid team, for African standards.

Ivory Coast are clearly the top 3, if not the best team from Africa. These guys are beasts with Drogba, Kone, Kaloue.

Slovenia i think will be the dark horse in this bet. They are capable of drawing the Russians, but you must favor the Ruskis in this one... They got solid players and a solid league to back it up.

I really like this bet, i think i might even steal it :p

Keep in mind tho, Egypt and Russia are MUST WINS.

Ivory Coast is already qualified for the WC so a win, loss or draw doesnt bother them.

Yeah it's the Ivory Coast one I'm most worried about. I think Drogba is injured and they have already qualified for the WC. Guinea can't qualify but are potentially playing for a place in the Nations Cup (If Malawi don't win). That said I'm assuming IC will want to finish on a high with the WC so close now so I'm taking their team quality to come through.

Algeria can afford to lose by 1 goal and still qualify ahead of Egypt while Egypt need to win by 3 to be sure of qualification - I think this puts Egypt in a stronger frame of mind (not to mention their players have been offered huge bonuses if they qualify) to go out and win the game (and I think they're a better side anyway).

Russia with Hiddink in charge have to win. Although Slovenia have good wins over Slovakia and Poland in their last 6 they've also lost to England and N Ireland. Russia is a tough place to go and get a result.

No money down yet. Was interested to see what the view on the bet was.

Im sure they'll be fine, given Hamsik is Slovakian.

I might lay a bit against France.

I'm not 100% sure Ireland will beat them.... though that is my gut instinct. They are a really hard team to beat IMO - and France have flattered to deceive for the past 10 years

South Africa to win T20 series V England at 6/5.

Any warnings about this one or does it look tasty?

Slight concern around England's inconsistency since they seem to put in a world beating performance once every 10 or so games.:patsch
