I suppose the Bookies reckon Calderon is done and dusted at this stage. but i think he's got more than enough left to beat Fuentes, especially at home. One last hurrah from The Iron Boy

 

He's 37, dropping down in weight, at a massive size disadvantage, coming off the back of 2 really tough fights against Segura and struggled to win his last fight against a dude with as many losses as wins...

I think he could build an early lead and it will be whether he can hold on down the stretch, being at home will help him.

 

Put £2 on Flannigan. Hopefully will be a fruitful cheap bet.

I see it as as a result I managed to only lose £45 in the end, if they'd given it to Sykes it would of been closer to £200 which would of been sickening as I originally backed him when he looked like he was going to be in the other half to Crolla and Derry and then layed him back at a loss when I realised he was in the same side as Crolla...

Is the Calderon fight going in play anywhere? I don't think it's televised in the UK is it which usually means no one covers it.

 

Most of the time they stick a clock symbol next to a fight if they're going to cover it in play. Not always but as there's no UK TV I assume they won't as they won't rely on a stream.

Just reading Fuentes took a few attempts to make weight, could mean he's less likely to be able to come on strong later on which is when I thought he;d take over. Caballero looking a better prospect with that in mind.

 

It took him four attempts to make weight and he looked gaunt as ****, he's basically just a skeleton with skin.

why on earth someone who's 5"10 would fight at 105 is beyond me

The bookies had a really good double yesterday, Leeds to beat Barnsley and Leeds to beat Warrington - 9/2.

Left it because Leeds never beat Barnsley, especially at home.

 

That bet I was doing is well and truly dead but I got five games out of it so I suppose it wasn't too bad.

Basically I was betting on Nfl games, they have an option for 'a field goal missed' and 'no field goal missed' The odds should have been roughly 5/6 for both, anyway there is also an option for 'no field goal' which is between 7/1 and 12/1, basically they'd mixed up the no field goal and no field goal misses, meaning a 5/6 bet was now a 10/1ish bet, then obviously you covered it by betting on the 'a field goal missed'

 

Stoke to beat liverpool looks good at 7/1 but I guess there's a reason I quit betting on football.

 

Found a nice little trick thats been working a treat for me lately.

Betting on tennis in play, what i do is pick a game with a highly ranked top quality player vs a lowly ranked no hoper and bet on next game winner. when the match starts the favourite is usually 1/3 to hold serve so i bet 100 on it which returns 133, i then bet the 133 on the fav to hold the next serve at odds of 2/7 which returns 171 then bet that on the fav to hold again at odds of 1/4 which returns 213, so you've just made over a 100. then move on to another match and do the same

Its been working a treat for me this week, made over a grand (lost most of it on boxing :twisted the key is to find the right match, so a good thing to do is watch both players first service games, if they go the way they should with the fav holding serve easy and either breaking or nearly breaking the opponents serve its on if not then stay away unless the fav is having a bad day and the underdog is on fire in which case bet on the dog to hold because even if their totally dominating the match holding and breaking the odds for them to hold for some reason wont go beyond 1/3
