I'm sure you'd get a very good price. Not only for him to fight DLH but also get KO'd? Go into a bookies and ask, report back here. I'd be interested to see. :yep Reckon you might get 10/1

Probably yeah...come to think of it.

If the fight was actually made I think De La Hoya would be about 4/6 to win. To win by KO maybe 7/5.

Then on top of that the fight to get made, perhaps I wasn't being generous enough. Maybe 8/1. That works out at about 20/1.

will have two multi bets this weekend...
I usually do one somewhat safe bet each week, followed by another multi. Had Uruguay and Costa Rica drew 0-0 in Costa Rica, I would have taken home a nice wad of cash last week. Still, my safe bet got up which was only a 4/1 multi.

    This weeks safe bet...

    Kessler to win
    Wales to beat Argentina (rugby)
    Australia to beat Scotland (rugby)
    Man U to beat Everton
    Rangers to win.

For a $20 bet, I'l get $61 if it gets up.

The other bet is all of the above with these two fixtures added...

    Arsenal to beat Sunderland
    Leeds Utd to win

A $20 bet will get me $191 back if it gets up.

If Beeston Brawlers lurking about, can you tell me how Leeds have been playing recently?
I haven't seen any of their games this year, I just know that they're killing it by far, and the odds on that bet is too good to refuse.

And TFFP, you don't think I should bet on Kessler?

Leeds are evens to win away at Brighton.

Certainly worth sticking in an accumulator on current form, in 15 league games we are 11-1-3 (w-l-d).

I'd say Wales will squeak past Argentina despite my doubts about their team selection...... the odds for Wales winning by less than 12.5pts is 7/5 - looks the best bet to me, the over is 4/5.

I'm running with NZ, Australia, Wales, SA, Ireland and France all to win on Saturday..... the accumulator is **** so I'm gonna stick some margins in there to make it worthwhile :good

Brighton in good form under Gus Poyet ... risky that and i wouldnt put Wales in against the Bargies ...think Argentina will upset them ...

. . .I guess my only concern is that it's spoken about so often now a fighter who manages to hold on until the final bell against VK would get a hell of a lot of credit. Enough to play for it regardless of the decision?

I wouldn't bet on Kevin Johnson being stopped...he has a good defence. He might realize he's beat and play it safe. Arreola got so far and he was plodding forward getting beat up. I think thats why its as good as 8/15 when Vitali was like 1/4 to stop Arreola.

And nope, I don't think Kessler is a sure thing at 1/2. I havn't done my official pick and analysis for that fight but I will do tomorrow.

I was never Captain of the official longboat, that was Decebal !

I'm still firmly on board, but you'll just have to wait and see for my prediction. It might be a surprise...or maybe not :D

Exactly my thought after I got over the initial excitment of seeing a near 1/2 for a VK KO!

Can see me putting the KO in a small stake accumulator but won't be loading up on it as a single bet. :-(
