Cant decide what to put on on a footy accumulator or on a match so if any1 has any tips feel free to gimme a heads up so i can build my weekend kitty.... got my sights set on kessler to ko magee on saturday... kessler to win between rounds 7-12 at 15/8 seems reasonable enough odds

It's not DeGale's chin that gives cause for concern. Its how easy he is to back up and his lack of punch power and more pertinently his inability to get even the most average, basic of fighters respect. He's easy to put on the ropes and unload on. If that happens against Zuniga it could be a bit of an issue.

Sure DeGale should win, and it remains to be seen what type of shape Zuniga is in at 3 weeks notice, but based on DeGale's last fight 11/2 seems okay as he ought to be a better fighter than that Frenchie.

I'm tempted to stick a hundred or 2 on marquez this weekend @ 2/1. How does everyone see that going? I mean hes already beat pacman 2/3 times but not got the decision, surely hes gonna take it this weekend?

If you're gonna go with Marquez, you might as well double your money and go for the decision.

He's not knocking Pacquiao out in a million years.

He's got enough power to hurt Manny, but watch round 8 of the 2nd fight.... even when he's clearly hurt Manny and looks like he could possibly get him out of there if he tries.... he backs off.

Not that I think he'd have stopped him anyway, but knowing that Pac can deck him hard with a single shot it's the smart way to fight.

That's what makes their battles so interesting.

One of them knows the other can knock him out, one knows the other will make him look silly if he's not careful.

We saw plenty of both in the first two fights.

    Yeah true
Think whats best to do on this is £20 on Marquez decision and £10 on the draw
Depends what shape Pac comes in whether he can win or not

Degale willingly goes on the backfoot and willingly goes to the ropes. It's not like he is getting pressurised and can't keep the guy off. He decides to do it and pose defensively with that makeshift mayweather defence.

It's really stupid but thats what he does.

I reckon he has the ability to box on the outside all night but prefers not to. Watch him vs darren sutherland at the olympics. Degale ran for his life all night and won the fight quite easily.

Anyone seen this sportindex spread betting thing
Say u wanna do corners they will put the amount of corners like 10 then you have to choose if you think its gonna go over or under then say u put a stake of £10 for every corner it goes over u win £10 but if it ends up at like 8 then you've lost £20
They gave me a free £100 this is gonna go terribly wrong or im gonna get lucky

Stupid is the right word, because the problem is regardless of whether he thinks he's Mayweather or James Toney the evidence is slightly contrary to that idea. He gets hit a fair bit, too much for a guy thats supposed to be soaking it up and countering. He doesn't get any real leverage on the ropes the way those guys do, nor is he a natural there. Better than most British fighters but nothing to suggest it should be a tactic.

You can't really run all night in the pros, and DeGale has taken a pretty macho approach recently. If he gets hit he likes to either soak it up on the ropes or get into a tough fight. He doesn't really use a long game.

All concerns going into this fight. Should win but 11/2 ain't bad, will see how other bookies price it, got a feeling might get 6's.

Well it's probably a good bet if you bet like that long term but when I think about it, I think it's not that good of a bet to be honest.

At 11/2, the bookmaker is saying that if they fight 13 times, Zuniga will win 2 of those fights and Degale will win 11.

I believe Degale would win every fight they have unless he gets injured or robbed on the cards which is unlikely, and the odds reflect that.

this sportingindex site is a joke its got Pacquiao vs Marquez fight minutes 29.5-30.5
so if i put a stake as £100 and it went the 12 rounds thats 5.5 extra so id win £550
if the fight went 10minutes id lose 19.5 which is £1950 lol they must make so much money
