Can't argue with a point win either way. But I wish a close decision on a fight I bet on could go my way just once! I think Barker's an excellent boxer and the better overall fighter, but Geale gutted out the 12th and I gave him the fight by a point. Solid fight.
Had a tenner on a double of kovalev rds 1-6 and barker SD at 65/1 http://s21.postimg.org/b8lwikhdz/thedrth_zps105411f0.jpg
For the odds it was the easiest bet ive seen in a while Just wish i saved up some to bet no way Cleverly was gonna win
The bookies got it badly wrong on the Boxing last night (and so did I). Enzo, Smith, Barker and Kovalev all were all 2nd favorites last night. Although admittedly the odds changed drastically in the run to up to the Clev fight; football fans made Clev slighty odds on.
well in all those that gave bets beforehand as for aftertimers, i think it deserves a prison sentence.
How do you know? I suspect the bookies were laughing last night as the favourites all lost. The reason a fighter is favourite is not just because it is thought on balance he would win, it is to do with how much money has been bet on the fighter, as you kind of hint at. The majority of the time the bookie wins no matter who wins. And any bookie who has not won when the favourite loses, probably needs to get out the business, or is offering some kind of lost leader...
@KWCFC I only lost £2, but stood to win £40 so i was unamused but not pissed Missing £750 on Shane Enzo fight as I had a fiver on Mcphilbin @150/1. Now that upset me, but to be fair to IJL he made up for it with the Enzo v Ovrvill fight
