Won the Jacobs and Garcia KO double.
But put £40 on Peterson fight to go the distance at about round 8.
So made no profit "/.

 

Just seen an interesting concept on a site called stakes and ladders , they have what they call a 'pool' running on the Porter v Brook fight.

You answer questions on the fight and if your answers are the most accurate of all the pool entrants you win the money, and the best bit they give you free £5 credit just for signing up, so its a freeroll really.

Also you get another £5 for every player you refer !!!
Seems more interesting than just having a bet on the fight at crappy odds to me.
Am I missing something or is this free money ?
Has anyone else played on it ???

I spoke to live chat to see if they do many boxing 'pools' and they said they'll set them up for any that there is a market for or even set up private pools.
We could have an ESB private pool and see if Lirva really is the gambling god he insists he is. Anyone up for this ?

The Premier League pools have big guarantees too which look good value.

But Lirva is always banging on about this being free money and that being free money so now there really is some from stakes and ladders he's nowhere to be seen.

Sounds alright....but nah. No such thing as a free lunch as they say! I'm still bombarded with spammy cr@p from various betting platforms from one-time bets....does my head in.
Besides £5 is nowt to me since I'm living the high life on my yacht with internationally selected ho's from following Lirva's tips......

 

Don't think theres any obligation though and I suspect you can unsubscribe from emails and tweets etc.
The free £5 isn't really the point though and the money is a side issue , its to see if Lirva can live up to his boasts and beat us all at what he does best.
And I'm sure that when he doesn't win the fact he's losing someone else's (free) money will soften the blow.

Time to step up Lirva, put somebody else's money where you mouth is !

Are they about the outcome of the fight?

 

Yeh, stuff like Will the fight go the distance, How many (if any) knockdowns during the fight etc. The more accurate your answers the more points you get, the most points wins the money.
Should make an already interesting fight even more interesting imo, and all with free money haha.
Don't think Lirva is up for the challenge , he'd probably want a 50k side bet if he entered the £1 pool.
