Groves in rounds 1-6 at 4/6 is my only bet this week, Douglin is really a light-middle for me and his jab whilst accurate is so lazy, it just sits there waiting to be countered.
I think Smith by KO @ 8/11 is worth consideration, the boy's power is legit. Degale will certainly win but it's 1/7, the KO odds are very tempting @5/2. I think unless Manny has Christian mercy for Algieri he wins easily by ko @ 4/6 Cannot for the life of me call the Cleverly fight, leaning towards Cleverly.
Interesting, hadn't looked into that. Groves was unimpressive against the Frog in his last fight, is this "Momma's boy" much worse than Degrasse (or whatever he was called)?
Its a tough one really, its all about opinions, I actually rated Rebrasse before the Groves fight and thought it would not be an easy night for George so I was not surprised with it not being a blow out, that said he did the job well enough. Douglin is not a bad fighter don't get me wrong but he is not a super-middleweight and has been stopped twice before down at light-middle with Groves being a very hard punching super-middle it made me look at Douglin and whilst he is tidy enough he can be lazy with his jab at times and if Groves fights instinctively and lets his shots go I feel he will get the stoppage, bit chancey I guess going for rounds 1-6 because Douglin may be very defensive and George may take his time but it seemed value for me, I made it a 1/4 shot rounds 1-6 so really had to take the bet.
Gonna put a treble on of: Quigg (Round 4-6), Pacquiao (T)KO and Cleverly (Points/Decision). Stake: £10. Return: £190.82
May as well wait and see where Lirva's money is going though, the amount he bets could seriously move any market.
Had 300 to win 200, few quid up after the Sturm/Stieglitz draw had 30 quid at 20s so playing with the bookies money.
Paddy P doing money back specials on round or group round betting if it ends inside 6 rounds. Backed Bellew 7-9 at 10/1
I've got 40 on Algieri @ 15/2.... He looks like a mover who's durable and might snatch a points win. Pacman hasn't impressed me lately Are smiths and degales opponents durable? Decent odds to be had on a double
I've seen quite a few people across various forums mention Stakes and Ladders now, and after your PM, I've decided to sign up. I've entrered the £5 pool on the Cleverly/Bellew card; only me and one other at the moment.
I've got my network of helpers placing massive bets on my behalf all week. There is a massive massive bet that I've had here, well into 5 figures. I'll reveal the bet tomorrow but suffice to say, I'll be rolling in money tomorrow night.
I know Callum Smith's opponent is very durable and experienced but I fancy Callum to get a stoppage any decent odds about?
