I want AJ to win but i'm putting my money on Wlad late KO, maybe 6-12 or 10-12, way more value in that than there is in backing AJ.

Its a hard one to call tbh. I m fancying klitchko....but theres a lot against him. No real momentum coming in. Ageing. Lay off. And most importantly no emmanual steward. I think thats the big one for me. I think it was the decider against fury. Steward wouldnt have accepted that from wlad. That jonathan banks speaks sense but doesnt seem to have any go about him. Hes not really got that hard streak steward had when needed.

I think its also worth remembering wlad is packing a bit glass. He found a way to negate opponents under steward but the past shows...he can fall apart. Down 3 times against peters. Purrity stopped him i think. Brewster and another one i cant remember his name. But he pretty much fell apart a couple of they times...stamina went etc. It will come down to if joshua can land. If he can i dont think klitchko will stand up to too much of it.

Having said all that i m still going klitchko. I think he,ll old man joshua. Joshua very good but footwork will let him down. Expecting his footwork to be quicker for this one tho...think it was against martin it was reasonably quick. Cause martins footwork wasnt that bad...it was everything else that was terrible. But no sure it,ll be quick enough. Wlad will edge up get the jab off first even tho their about the same size...think he said himself...anticipation will be the difference. Joshua needs to get the pace up. Get klitchko out his comfort zone. Fury was right the klitchko,s are control freaks when you take them out the comfort zone they start to panic a bit. He needs to get off first. Even if you miss the jab. Throw the right hand. They should mean to miss the jab. Anything but let klitchko off first...cause he,ll jab then clinch. Rinse and repeat. Opponent gets frustrated. Then they start getting desperate too quickly. Thats when klitch starts sticking in sneaky left hooks and right hands.

Furys footwork was very good against wlad...joshuas a bit flatfooted to me. He goes in quick but coming outs where he hits problems. Too slow backing up. Them big arms come down eventually...sometimes as early as the second round. I think hes open for that left hook.

This is silly, and a libellous slur , you don't even know who the officials are yet, and if anyone has benefited from lenient officals over the years it is Wlad!

Interesting find but if you go way back to the amatuers. The fight joshua loses by stoppage. It was the left hook that done the damage. Probably wlads most dangerous weapon.

Hes came along way from the amateurs...bulked up tremendously. Became a lot better fighter...but does point towards it maybe being a danger in this fight. I m not sure joshua judges the range that well. Klitchko,s the master at it. Will be interesting to see if joshua can. Even against molina he was falling short at times because molina was doing what klitchko will do back off when joshua goes to go forward. The difference is klitchko has something to stop joshua coming forward.

Yes this is the fight you referring to?

Nistor cannot miss with that left hook.

A Wlad KO with brutal left hook is something many of us won't be too surprised to see in this fight.
AJ has always been vulnerable on his right side. The way he squares up and the way he pulls his right hand back sometimes are amateurish.
I'm sure AJ's been working on this and is well aware of Wlad's hook but there's only so much progress a boxer can make in the gym without ring experience. When the big night pressure is on, the same old habits are bound to surface. If AJ is forced to go a few rounds and fatigue sets in, he could be in for a very rude awakening.

That was the one. Good find mate. Different fighter nowadays but the guy pretty much landed with the left hook continually. Bearing in mind klitchko,s left hook is very good...its a possibilty some arent seeing. Too busy looking at joshua,s 18 ko,s from 18. Forgetting that klitchko,s something like 53 ko,s from 63. Against guys a lot more proven than joshuas. I d be going big on klitchko if it was a few years back. But at this stage its pretty much anyones guess what stage klitchko,s at.

Personally hope wlad wins but imo this wont last more 6 rounds can see josh winning in 3 or wlad in 6 just weird feeling. Think wlad chin this stage but he has mobster left hook and aj does seem lower right hand a lot. Ano he has been big fights before but could this be on his mind aj he's lose lose he fav to win and if does everyone say wlad old and fury ruined him 90000 on him if wins he gets the big fights even an old wlad is 10 times better anyone aj ever faced so far. Stuff casual genuine excited this

Vlad is, by far, the best fighter Joshua has ever fought period. Camerelle easily out boxed Joshua in the Olympics, home cooking gave Joshua a decision, but he did not deserve the decision...............when Vlad was sparring Joshua in camp not that long ago, or it seems, it was no contest at all................Whyte did stagger/hurt Joshua and he can't punch or fight...............if Vlad lands a big punch on Joshua, it will be lights out. Joshua is stiff, Vlad is relaxed in the ring, fast on his feet, everyone forgets that Vlad is a very powerful puncher also, left hook, hook off the jab, power jab, over hand right, straight right, right hook, double jab, better defense, balance, pretty much everything except age..................that is the unknown...........the bums Joshua has been fighting were easy to hit, Vlad will not be so easy...............and is an excellent counter-puncher................if Vlad is at 75% he will win this fight, even if he is less, he still have the power and stamina...............the unknowns are what makes this fight so interesting, sold out................Joshua wanted the rematch clause in his contract for a reason, he is not sure he will win..................interesting...............if Vlad wins I will not be surprised..................if he loses I will not be surprised either, but I have to give Vlad the edge...............will the home crowd make a difference? Doubt it, because Vlad is used to big crowds..........

Farmboxer you build your argument as if Joshua has no chance in hell in beating Wlad, then at the end you sneak in that you wouldn't be "surprised" if AJ wins, just so you can make excuses for Wlad just in case he does lose. If your so sure Wlad is better than AJ in just about every department then why not stick your neck out and make more of a confident pick, sounds like a cop out to me.

The more I think about this fight the more confident I am in picking Wladimir.
Still I'm nowhere near as confident as some of those who favour AJ seem to be. I believe those people to be hopeful optimists and possibly long -time WK haters.
I just don't see much in AJ. He knocked a few bums out, good, but boxing is so much more than that.

Anyone seen anything decent? I think wk to get knocked down and win at 12/1 has a bit of value

When Wlad gets KD he loses his legs and never recovers. He has a definitive glass chin. If he gets chinned by AJ he sure as **** won't get up and last the distance.

You're maybe forgetting those fights where he got decked, got up and won.
