I’ve had a terrible year with predictions so far, need to stop thinking with my heart and use my head.

I m not far away mate. Last four went with Selby to beat Warrington. Eubank to beat groves. Jack to beat Stevenson. The only one I got correct was bellew to beat haye in the rematch. After backing haye in the first fight strongly.

Too many variables in boxing. Still think the weight done Selby. The injury done haye. And the weight and his inability to throw the right hand straight beat eubank.

The more I see boxing the more i think your better backing the guy with the best or most crooked promoter. I still think frank and Eddie we,re up to high jinks in two of them three fights. They knew Selby was struggling badly at the weight...looked weak from the start. Any decent operator would have beat last nights version of Selby for me.

Same with haye I think they,ve knew the true extent of his injuries before making that first fight. No offence to the guys that won the two fights. That's just imo anyway...the reality of it. Looks to me like the promoters are getting gym reports...whispers etc.

I,d have pulled both haye and Selby out earlier in all three of they fights. Selby was gone from the start...his reaction time was worryingly slow. Just wondering if maybe the hostile crowd has maybe played a part...for me tho it looks like they,ve picked the guy as in selby at exactly the right time....when hes pretty much fighting no where near to his actual level. Selby should have moved up...his own fault really. As a corner man/trainer its really really poor tho. Exactly how guys end up getting seriously injured. Regardless if you need to give up the world title or not.

ive done ok on the boxing lately, cant complain. no way would i have thought selby would get beaten up like that. A split decision? craziness. warrington showed us.

Anyway i expect Fury to KO Seferi in 1 or 2 rounds. i hope they give decent odds.

Inoue may not stop mcdonnell, it could be worth putting money on inoue decision.

I can see Penfold throwing in the towel if it becomes very one sided.

Really like Jamie McDonnell but i believe he’ll suffer the same fate as Selby. A 32 year old man, who’s 5’10 and boiling himself down to 8 stone 4. Madness. I think he’ll get stopped too.

Warrington. Brilliant performance. I'm not surprised by the result. When somebody is down as a 'banker' its always a dangerous thing. Frampton would be too strong but who knows, depends where the fight is. The kid is on a high. Im not a fan but who cares, good on him. He is a world champ now!

Honestly would like to see the back of warren once and for all after that. Was a great opportunity for him Saturday. Had the stadium. Had the crowd. Even had the Kaiser chiefs. Then proceeds to put on a shocker of an undercard...where his men we,re all heavy heavy favorites. The main event...the only fight that looked competetive had one of the guys the one he openly wanted to lose being ridiculously drained. Can't remember the last time I seen anyone as drained as selby was on Saturday. From the off as well. The scary thing is hes meant to also be his promoter.

Now looks like he,ll keep Warrington away from any threats in his prime years to keep milking the Leeds crowd. Theirs got to be something very wrong with all that. Theres money to be made in franks position in boxing atm...you don't need to be quite so crooked about it. Hes always been the same tho. Everythings always been about frank....to the extent he takes very little else into account. Needs to give it up...let the younger ones take over.

Yes mate, thats called tactics from the warrington team. Sometimes you get real insights into boxing and life in general. During the build up i got a real insight into how peoples opinions and interpretations of events can be so off mark as to what is actually going on. Here im referring to how josh and the people of leeds did really get into lees head.
What youve described above is a consequence of how much team selby really did get upset each time they came to leeds.
I was at both pressers the open workout and weigh in. I saw chris sanigar lose the plot at the weigh in, i saw lee get upset at the 1st presser. I saw lee get upset at the weigh in. And on many other occasions i saw team selby 'not liking it'
Even pundits like steve lillis was saying that nothing would get under lees skin and i was thinking, 'what u talking about, cant u see whats going on'
Even on the ring walk u could tell lee was uptight, he was trying to put a front on with his uzzy ahmed impression, walking to the ring.
The leeds lot really got behind their man and went out of their way to upset team selby and imo it worked

Thanks to your post I had a fiver on the SD Warrington and double it with Russell Jr win, returns almost 165. Lost a fiver on the draw.

On the Stevenson v Jack fight I had jack to win and also a tenner on a draw double with Loma win. Decent weekend for me. 10 returns 286.

And with all that advantage going in - plus Lee being a walking corpse at the weight, Josh couldnt hurt him or put him down! And youre trying to make out Josh is superman or something..Come on......!!

So what bets have you boys got on?

Tyson Fury to win in rounds 1 or 2 are great odds, stuck a score on each round.

Also there is some geezer on here who is convinced Horn beats Crawford so contemplating on sticking a few quid of Horn for the win? 11/2 for Horn win is best im getting but im not sure as i think Crawford beats him....help me out!!
