Phew...... I'm even after that! SL 239 all out - lost their last nine wickets for just 74..... having looked certs to get well over 300. This was my summary betting in play..... Less than 250 - Even 250-274 - £47 down 275-299 - £53 down 300-325 - £5 down 325 - 350 - £37 up 350+ - £71 up I had to lay a **** load on less than 250 to get back to evens. Just as I looked like laying off half my profit and walking away up £20 odd, SL lost three wickets whilst I was on the phone to a mate :-(
Did you start out betting on a spread or just with a fixed price market? I've only got one market open for that game on Bet365 at the minute - India win or Sri Lanka win. :? Won't touch spread betting.
. . . ahh. There we go. More markets being put up now. Must just have been while they were preparing the odds.
Betting in play on the number of runs scored in the SL innings..... the 350+ is so high because I got 20/1 (£2 stake) on it immediately after the first wicket fell. Just as I was about to lay against myself with the odds alright to walk away with a decent return the 2nd wicket fell..... then a collapse, so I was ****ed - and essentially went double or quits on under 250 when the 8th wicket fell.
These prelims are ****.For example last night I would have stuck Andy Hamilton on the end of an accumulator but you cannot place the bet until them two jokers have played-by which time Painter had already played Can anybody tell me who will play the winner of tonights, tomorrows and wednesdays prelims?
King v Stompe Lewis v Newton McDine v Bates Tabern v Dudbridge Taylor v Hine Thornton v Artut Webster v Manley These are the confirmed 2nd round ties...... no idea who plays who from the upcoming matches though.
I don't know too much about many of the players in action tonight..... barring John Part and Beaton. Part can usually be relied upon in the betting stakes, not too sure about Beaton though since his move to the PDC. How much higher is the standard of this tourney in comparison with the BDO?
