That's hit Pakistan's hopes. Yousuf and Misbah would need a 100 run partnership now to be in with a sniff.

Yeah, that's something I noticed as well.

One thing he (and anyone else) needs to be careful of is trying to play square drives off Johnson - I've never seen a bowler take so many wickets with shocking deliveries that ought to be left or disappearing to the cover boundary - but for some reason too many try to slash it in between the point and gully areas and end up caught at 3rd slip.

The decks in Australia are becoming more generic, in the 1970s & 80s the pitches were pretty flat but rock hard, these days they offer a bit more for the spinners early but not a right lot for the quicks, even Perth, where you'd never pick a spinner until about 1995.

Pak ****ed now. This was my instinct, still a lot of runs on the last day, and Pak are Pak...always **** it up. All things being equal they had a chance but a couple of wickets ruins it.

Misbah got a beauty to be fair.

    Pub team today.

    What you got on it?

I put £20 on them to win before the first day, then laid against it on Sunday .... I'll be about £4 up if they knock them over.

I backed Aus at 1/3 at the end of day 2 in a treble with

    Phil Taylor 4 - 0 Hine

    Stockport vs Leeds

Lost a little on Taylor tonight to win 4-0:verysadFat ******* missed 2 darts at D8 to win the 4th

I can't really see anything other than an Australia win now but still 5 wickets with Yousuf and Kamran at the crease

I lost on that as well.

I'm definitely interested in tomorrow's matches..... Kirk Shepherd is 3/1 to beat Webster, Whitlock 5/6 over Jenkins, and Painter 9/4 over Barny.

Barny will probably beat Painter but wouldn't stick him in a parlay, Whitlock will beat Jenkins, his ability to hit the trebles with his first dart and key doubles will get him through.... I'd leave Baxter (1/2) and Wade (1/4) alone.

Wonder what Lewis is to beat Taylor - if he carries his form on I see it going a long way, 8 or 9 sets :hey

Have a look at Bell's record when somebody before him has made a ton.

You can clean up on the in play.

    Lewis is 4/1 vs Taylor

Whitlock was 4/6 earlier now 8/11 (Boyle)I fancy him vs Jenkins

Kirk Shepherd looks a right ****,sneering at everyone. That game doesn't appeal to me,nor does the Stompe/Dudbridge game

Barneveld has not thrown great,9 darter aside so Painter maybe worth a look

There is that, and it is something he has got to shake very quickly.

Nine Test tons, all of which has come when someone else has made one - though the innings yesterday/today was excellent, probably his best.

I'm not a fan, never will be, but I hope to God that they don't decide he is a #3 again - FFS England, it's a specialist position! And Bell IS NOT a #3!

[Edit - I think Shepherd is worth £3 as a throwaway, I'm definitely leaving the Dudbridge match alone..... I think the winner of Taylor vs Lewis wins the tournament]

He's England's most technically correct batsman but he's a fringe player still at the moment.

Cook might have scored a ton but England were still in a position where they desperately needed a big contribution from Bell. They were still 60 behind and needed a big lead to have any chance of a win. A nice 30 wasn't going to be enough. Plus he was under big pressure because of all the talk. He impressed me for the first time ever.

I think Jenkins will win against Whitlock, close match though. Also, don't see Shepherd winning either although decent odds for him.

Shepherd is absolutely woeful. He's not even averaged above 80 yet!!

But he seems to have this weird habit of making other players playing like a complete ****** ala himself.
