I've put a tenner on Thompson at 6/4. McIntyre hasn't been all that active lately, whilst Thompson is in good form. Not sure what to do with the main event, Dolan at 7/4 is quite generous, I thought the first fight was pretty close. Both guys to be knocked down is 14/1 - were they both down twice last time? Not sure either guy has the power to KO the other, but certainly to inflict a bit of pain!
Has anyone received a Betfair offer this week? I got an email telling me I was entitled to make a £20 football multiple bet before 17th January and win or lose the stake would be refunded. The T&Cs are'nt very clear and I want to know whether I can take 2 from 3 results at a combined £20 and still get the whole £20 back. It looks like I could but this doesn't seem right. Any tips for the PL? I haven't checked out team news or stats yet but I like the look of Villa at face value. Maybe one or two from Man Utd. Tottenham, Wolves or Stoke? :good
I'm steering clear of Stoke today. I don't like ti when everyone and their granny lumps on. It's too obvious. I'm gonna go against Reading though. We seen it last week when Leeds could only manage a draw after beating Man Utd - It;s a bit of a come down. Reading play Forest today who are in great form and are 4/6.
My 8 fold for today..... Leeds to beat Exeter Norwich to beat Colchester Swindon to beat Gillingham Coventry to beat or draw with Ipswich Stoke to beat or draw with Liverpool Man Utd to beat Burnley Spurs to beat Hull Birmingham to beat Porstmouth 105/1 I've gone with the usual, a small amount on an accumulator, then sevenfolds, then trebles, doubles & singles. Not sure how much I'll win if they all come in, a tenner is staked in total though.
I've got a similar multi bet going except I picked Ipswich to win over Coventry. I also had Stoke in a multi and put it on before the Reading loss. They were paying $6 then. It's unlikely to happen, but well worth the $6 I think.
I liked the look of Nottm F today but leaving it alone given what happened in the Cup. No way of telling if it will have a positive or negative affect on the players from reading. I'd still expect Forest to win but there's one too many intangibles for me.
No I didn't get it. The only one I got was the one to take on Andy Gray. All my picks are exactly the same (barring the Stoke vs Liverpool one).... so it was a bit pointless.
I didn't get that one. What do you think of Villa tomorrow? West Ham have a lot of players out through injury and Villa look to have a strong side set to start. Will Thursday night in the CC have an impact on them or do you think it should be an easy game for them? They've lost the last 2 in league so surely must be determined to get back on track.
I'd lay against West Ham. Villa are a good side and had a decent win on Thursday, but they might have heavy legs. If Parker isn't playing then I'd run with Villa to win. He is key to the Hammers IMO.
The team news I read yesterday had Parker sidelined. I ****ing hate Tottenham!!!:fire:twisted: I said I'd stop backing them after the Wolves defeat but had a moment of weakness yesterday and included them with Man Utd. and Chelsea. Lost about £50 over the past couple of months due to their inability to score against the scum of the PL. :verysad
Thats a bit harsh mate - Hull n Wolves are decent sides in there own right ! .... and lets face it Spurs have only taken one point from 6 on there home turf against em .... :rofl
i had a bet on Mayweather v Pacquio on Bet365, does anyone know when they'll refund my bet, do u think i'll have to wait till March?
