Any thoughts on the English football this weekend lads? I'm yet to check out team news but I'm looking for a four fold as well as a double.

For the four I'm going to have a look at team news, recent stats etc for:

Burnley V Chelsea
Man City V Portsmouth
Cardiff V Doncaster
Norwich V Hartlepool

Nottm Forest are priced at evens away to Derby. I saw derby at the start of the month in Newcastle and they were awful (although we still didn't manage to beat them!)

Any value in Manfredo/Vanda going over 9.5 rounds at 1/4?

 

Im a Forest fan supporter - and the senario is this ... were on a wonder run playing superb football in the public eye and people liking Forest at the moment . Derby playing poorly and dont look a good team . Davies back to his old stomping ground , Cloughie an ex forest legend ... big east midlands local derby - Forest expected to win !!....erm omens are there for a Derby win but i ****ing hope not !!!! - wouldnt back on this game :blood.... to many what ifs !

 

I never really like derby games for betting on but the price for this just won't stop staring at me!

I shall try my best to avoid it.

I've gone with that treble.

Betfair are paying evens for there being more than 48.5 points in the Leeds vs Crusaders game tonight (rugby league)..... Leeds the champions three seasons running and the Welsh side were the whipping boys last season.

Even if it's a close-ish game it's worth £5 on that.

Leeds -12.5 at half time, also evens, is worth a punt also..... I've gone with the Leeds -40.5 full time at 7/2.

Only small bets mind.... after my shocking form last season on rugby.

I'd say that's a better than fair odd. Maybe worth a small amount or putting in an accumulator. Burnley not scored in their last 3 and Chelsea are hitting form.

I won £25 on Betfair with a Chelsea, Cardiff, Man City and Norwich four fold (posted here I think) but then lost £10 on Bet365, primarily thanks to Bordeux.

I've not looked at midweek matches. Will do so this afternoon.

On the boxing, Jason Booth is 13/8 to stop Matthew Marsh.

Apparently Marsh is struggling at the weight, Booth is on a real roll at the minute and had a great win last time out over Michael Hunter, by dominant stoppage.
