It was one of the things I enjoyed most - going to the game without any hint of trouble.

Anyways, I've started doing lay multiples on Betfair, I find it's easier to pick teams that won't win, rather than ones that will.... obviously the odds are lower though.

 

A mate of mine uses betfair all the time ... he says im mad for not getting involved on there ... guess im just an old traditionalist.... lol

Yeah there is certainly money to be made, backing something then laying against yourself.

Luke is a good player, but his brother is something else.... there are two twins in the youths at Bradford, apparently they are something to watch out for.

Ive heard ESPN are picking the rights up after Setanta UK bust ... so touch wood on that one ...

Yeah have seen some of the State of Origin games a few years ago..... better than those pathetic half-baked ''Origin'' games we had at Headingley on a Wednesday night with half the best players ''rested'' :-(

 

The biggest gain for the Rabbitohs this season is their coach, John Lang.

He's a proven winner and will get much more out of the team than what Taylor did. Seeing as how we were only 3 wins away from a top 4 birth last year, I reckon we're a decent shout to get in there this season. I'll look at the odds later on and will throw a few bucks on it.

I also think the Knights will get the spoon, and Brisbane will miss the top 8 for the first time in 15 or so years.

Evens on Melbourne to win - 2.5, Leeds arent in the best of form and Melboure got 3 of the best players in the world, Greg Inglis, Billy Slater and Cameron Smith.

 

Any news on the weather forecast for Sunday?

I know its bollocks but it does infliuence the odds when British teams play the Aussies - has done ever since Saints beat Brisbane that year.

The weather doesnt look that bad to be fair, that could change though, will be a cracking game.

 

The monies coming on the Storm for this sunday ... 6/5 earlier this week now best priced 5/6 but generally 8/11 .....

 

I got 10/11 on Wednesday, didn't want to wait any longer.

Are there any alternative handicaps?

 

Bump. It's came in at 10/1 now, but still worth it IMO.

Sinclair is also 11/8 which seems a good bet too.
