Didn't watch the game. Did you see anything to suggest that they'll give Man Utd a hard time at the weekend?

    Nice win.

    Denman is out to 5/1.

Has there been enough rain over there so that the ground is any worse than good to soft, soft in places?

Yeah-Torres.Last two games between these 2 teams,Ferdinand and Vidic have both struggled with his pace and power so I'll leave this game alone(I do think United will win though)

    :good

I'll probably stick to what I said at the start of the week. Have a go in a long accumulator but leave off piling the money on it as a single/double.

Any luck in the Gold Cup lads? mryeags, skel1983?

I had an EW punt on Denman but he was back down to 4/1 by the time I got there so end up with exactly my stake back :patsch.

Mate I was gutted I had Denman in a double with Big Bucks, so close yet so far!

Poor Kauto I think in the end it was to much for the legend, correct me if I am wrong but has there ever been a 10 year old winner before?

We can safely say the bookies gave us a battering this week :nut.

Gutted for Kauto. I didn't back him in the end, I just didn't like the price last night on Betfair, and didn't fancy betting against him as he's won me a fair few quid over the years. Still, despite losing nowt, I'm sad for him. Great horse.

Theres been a 10YO winner in the past, yeah (think Desert Orchid was). But was reading today Kauto would have been oldest winner since 1969.

Well done anyone on Imperial Commander. Noticed he was tipped in the Guardian today.

Looked like a bad fall too, never mind, you take for granted how good these horses are in this race and get carried away with the media coverage, Imperial Commander is a top quality horse. Bloody Denman would of won I would of won best part of two ton. :|

Unlucky mate. Forgot you'd said you'd put that double on early doors.

I think there has been another 10yo winner since '69, just obvioulsy not as old a 10yo as Kauto (going on the post above).

Not sure whether I broke even or not for the week yet. Been placing footy bets all week as well which have made it difficult to see where money has been coming and going - I'll have to work it out later. Had a cheeky £3.40 (to round of my account balance) on Great Endeavour yesterday afternoon at 18/1 which could just about have put me back on the good side of even.

    Definitely a strange week.

. . . Just gone through my bet history. I'm 3% up from my stake on the racing. Blown that and another 4% on football though

Wouldn't back Charlton with bent money.
