Woo! I'm taking home £120 from the Dirrell fight. Went exactly how I imagined it to (if you disregard the AA knockdowns and the controversial climax anyway)

Well I say I'm taking it home - Bwin are a pain in the proverbials. I've never had to send in photo ID to collect winnings before with PaddyPower, Betfair, or anyone else for that matter. Plus I'm having to get it placed into my PayPal account despite me wanting it back on the same card I deposited with.

All to ensure that I'm of legal age to bet before they actually pay me. Funny though, I don't seem to remember such concern on their part when I was actually depositing and placing bets.

Hopkins is 7/1 to KO Jones. This should be an enticing punt and the most likely scenario. However, this fight is such a farce that both would treat as a sparring session and that is the risk in taking the 7/1 odds for the Hopkins KO win?

Did a bet last night when pissed, and can't access gambling site in work.

Think I got 2/1 on a Man City/Newcastle double tonight.

Worth a punt. Forest are **** away from home.

I keep having a similar problem on Betfair. Been putting on a few multiples but can't work out how to view the bets afterwards. Won a nice chunk at the weekend but don't know what on! Posted one fourfold here at 4.28 but my account statement shows another bet . . . i just can't see what it was.

City/Newcastle double should be ok for tonight.

    I had a good weekend :

£30 on AD by dec (lost)
    £5 on AD by TKO/KO/DQ (10-1, too good i thought) won £50
£30 on Guzman (first fight was close and 9lb weight adv) won £52.50
£10 treble on UFC 111 @ 3-1 won £30 (my boy seems to know all about that ****)
    £20 single on Carwin (UFC 111) - won £24

    Better than last weekend:

£40 VK by dec (damned close tho) lost
£30 Lindsay by KO/TKO (nearly....) lost

I might just follow my lads UFC picks - he is v rarely wrong, I should work out his strike rate.

Word of warning - my bookie cancelled my bet on Guzman after his weigh in (i had placed before the weigh in) and i never noticed.....I added another £30 when i saw how big he was and how the odds had gone out. Bit cheeky to just cancel bets like that I think, cost me some profit.

here are 3 bets that seem good value, what do you think?

    KP to win by KO/TKO/DQ - 9/4

Dirrell to win Super Six - 6/1 (I think it's between him and Ward and Ward is noooo value)

Froch to beat MK by KO/TKO/DQ - 3/1

I have put £40 on KP, £20 on AD but I'm undecided on Froch just yet.....

Olusegun 1-7 lynes 9-2 draw 28-1 seems a closer call than that to me?

Bet of the weekend could be...

Olusegan to stop Lynes 7/4 with Boylesport. I actually find that the favoured outcome, we know Lynes does not like a rough pace and he does not fair well with unorthodox guys (remember McCloskey?) and Olusegan brings both. He's also on the tail end of his career really.

    Possible treble...

    Olusegun stoppage 7/4
    Groves to win 2/7
Hopkins to win 1/5 (another option is Haye @ 1/6 if you prefer, I prefer Hopkins. You could do both of course but trebles are sort of my personal limit)
    --------------------
    £10 pays £42.43

    I like the first one.

I can't be arsed betting on things way in the future, albeit we're getting closer. It feels like money gone ! Ward would have been value if you got the 10/1 I reccomended before this thing begun, or the 4/1 on an American ;)

You did well getting 2/1 for that. I went in play at half time in the Newcastle match (both games still 0-0) and only got 1.92 on Bet365.

Still a good way to start the week though :p
