Look shite against Hawkins to Higgins wonder whats up?? In the last 15 frames his highest break has been 78, not like John at all.

I know, he has been poor. Even with Higgin's not looking good in his first round, I wasn't expecting Davis to get more than 5 frames in this match.

So they is how Hearn saves snooker, by getting Higgins to throw games against old legends?

John is taking a dive this match and making a point of it too, not even trying to be subtle about it.

I think credit to Davis he has played better than he has for a long time, but lets be honest here you would expect a player of Higgins level in a best of 25 to stomp all over a 52 year old who has made 3 century breaks in three years.

    Well done Steve lad!

How is Williams playing right now...... 11/5 to beat O'Sullivan who was poor in his first match :think

Davis showed a lot of bottle there. The first session which he won 6-2 (with something like a 95% pot success rate - best he has played for at least the last 5 years) was vital though and he never let Higgins get in front after that.

Williams showed a lot of good form before the tournament (I think Higgins tipped him to win the tourney), but he didn't look that great from what I seen of him in the first round. The odds are good though, as I would only make O'Sullivan a slight favourite, as he showed class against Wembo in spurts although he was inconsistent.

What's everyone got on the footy?

I put my winnings from last night on a draw between Spurs and Man Utd (at 33/10 Betfair) - looking alright at the minute.

Thinking about an accumulator for the Prem and League 1 games..... then the boxing tonight.

Newcastle Noriwch double for me pays about 11/8.

Reading nice price at 7/4 as well.

Really want froch to win this one - a cracking east midlands boxing double this weekend ....:good but ive kept my cash in my pocket as this fight i cannot split ... a peak Kessler will be a cracking fight but if hes on the way down Froch will win it .... too close to call !

I fancy Adamek to force a late stoppage against Arreola :good

Greyhound derby two tips - Ten large down 25/1 £30 each way and Eye on the storm £50 each way at 14/1 ... eres hoping for a good draw through the heats .... :thumbsup

thats tasty that 11/8 .... football at this time of the season is an easy way to lose doh but that double even i may be tempted to have a final footy punt for the season :good

I'm so tempted to pile in big on Newcastle but slightly worried that they may try too hard today with it being the last game of the season and a full stadium. Will kick myself if they win and I haven't got much on it though. Been great value all year at home.

    These are my picks.

    Newcastle > Ipswich
Hull to fail to beat Sunderland
Watford to fail to beat Reading
    Forest > Plymouth

£9.49 on the accumulator, £2.50 each on the trebles, £19.49 to win £80ish plus stake.

Was tempted to add Millwall and Leeds but decided against it..... I've got Norwich as a single.
