Had Wests this morning EVS and think the Rabiitohs at 6/5 away in NZ look a good thing ... theyve hit form and NZ arent a great outfit ... bit of value there ! Was lookin at ur boys 4/6 at Bradford .... thats a decent price but will bow to ur better judgement.. Also Salford 7/4 away in Catalan this weekend may be worth a shot - they looked a good unit against saints last weekend and catalan still struggling with injuries and form ... wouldnt go big on that but once again at odds against a bit of value....
Welcome back Damian. :good I've just got back from a weeks holiday and I'm absolutely gutted at the sport I've missed. Biggest week of the year by far and I've not seen a ****ing bit. :-( Boxing scene is looking pretty bleak for bets at the minute. Any thoughts on group qualification for the WC from anyone? Some tight groups in there and there is value being offered as a result. Can Sven finally make a difference to the IC?
Not made any bets as of yet but South Africa look worth backing against. 5/4 for Uruguay 13/8 for Mexico 4/5 for France That being said,I dont think a host nation has failed to qualify from ANY World Cup. Quite like the looks of Australia 6's to beat Germany as a value bet Nigeria the same price to beat Argentina Think my main bet will be a high stakes roll up of what i regard as certainties. Earmarked 6 which pays out over 3/1,still working on it tho.
Mexico 13/8 over SA England 8/15 over USA Serbia 13/10 over Ghana Japan 13/5 over Cameroon Italy 10/11 over Paraguay Chile 4/6 over Honduras (watch out for Chile, could be a surprise package) Uruguay 13/10 over SA Slovenia 12/5 over USA
How can Holland be 14/1 and England 11/2? Holland won every group game. I have done, £50 Brazil @ 5/1 £50 Holland 14/1 £10 Villa Top Scorer @ 9/1 £10 Van Persie Top Scorer @ 25/1
I actually fancy Slovenia/USA as a draw but I wouldn't be surprised if Slovenia won. It makes me laugh people think its a certainty the US will go through with England. England yeah, the US are ****. In boxing terms they play bums and get a good ranking. Japan over Cameroon is the most interesting value I can see. Japan are ALWAYS a tidy little team, superb technically. Cameroon are nothing special at the moment. Keep Eto'o quiet and there isn't too much to brag about there.
http://www.oddschecker.com/boxing/prizefighter-super-bantamweights/win-market Decent odds for Pickering to win Prizefighter.
Because Holland throw in a flat game time and time again in big tournaments. Their attack doesn't turn up and their perpetually average defence gets pierced enough times to dump them unceremoniously out of the tourney. England might have a shot, but I think Brazil, Italy, Spain will be the ones that make up three of the four semi-finalists and there will one random team decent team like England or Argentina making up the last spot.
He's in contention..that about sums it up. They have Mathijsen and Heitinga too. Okay but not exactly top notch, is it? They have good creativity and attack though.
Holland 14/1 is ridiculous when they have Sneijder, Robben and Van Persie in the team. England's defence is as bad as Holland's. Glen Johnson = rubbish defender, should be a winger Rio Ferdinand = more injury prone than King these days, when was his last great game? John Terry = Not had a commanding game this year Ashley Cole = One of the Top LB's In Europe. In no way a 5/1 shot....especially when Portugal are 22/1!! If those two meet in the semi's id pick Portugal every time!
They got Van Bommel aswell, decent odds are 14/1, could never back against England though in a World Cup lol.
