First bet placed for the WC - like my accy's during tournaments - gives every game plenty of interest while it's still live:

    France to qualify from group
    USA to qualify from group
    Germany to qualify from group
    Brazil to win group
Spain to win group, with Chile 2nd place
    Italy to win group
    Holland to win group
    Argentina to qualify
    Spain to beat Switzerland
    Brazil to beat N Korea

    ...Pays just under 30/1

Bit too much of a toss-up between them and Uruguary to feel confident.

Probably better off just backing Mexico to beat South Africa at 13/8, dont see them going through if they fail against them.

I'm not all that confident about France despite being strong on paper. Uruguay and Mexico are capable and South Africa are the hosts. Sack this group.

bloody won money on argentina and england game, and then lost all the profit on portugal to score. how the hell couldn't portugal score against a near enough semi pro side? had ronaldo, deco and them lot on aswell. oh well. i knew it was a friendly, but you would expect portugal to score especially with ronaldo on against such a team.

Ive been loving the look of Portugal at 7/5 to beat Ivory Coast, but the massive ineptitude of Carlos Queiroz is a bit concerning. They were awful in qualifying aswell.

Great assistant by all accounts but crap manager. Decisions, decisions, they might come alive in the World Cup.

I was doing live betting, won england to score next twice and win then put a bet on argentina to score first or so I though, checked bets but then for some stupid reason forgot to click the place button so I won less than I had expected.

Any tips for British Prizefighter? It's always a bit of a lottery.. Do you think the unbeaten Ricky Owen will win comfortably?

yeah i think thats the best way to bet on prizefighter, all the money i've made has been on in-play

although i will place a small bet on Casey, he has a couple of early KOs plus hes Irish so i kind of have to bet on him
