Darts - UK Open starts on thursday. 'The FA Cup of darts'. I'm hoping Gary Anderson will be matched against some joker at short odds. Also looking at Wayne Mardle. Might lay against him vs Mick McGowan who's capable enough. Mardle looked terrible just before Christmas.

Rhys Davies is definitely worth a bet at the Welsh Open starting Thursday.

    20/1.

Whatever Mr VIP bets on..... I'm always inclined to do the opposite.

Malignaggi might have been worth a tenner/£20 as a throwaway bet with the odds (I had a go myself) but to claim to put £6k on him is just madness..... or bull****

Bless him, he thinks Guzman and Judah are great fighters..... I have my sympathies :yep

Malignaggi wasn't worth a hard earnt penny...no punchers chance, crap stylistic chance.

I'd rather have taken the bet of Mr 'Guaranteed way to make money' than put £100 on Malignaggi.

Should be a great one. They say Berdych is a choker at times, and Soderling is liable to take him into that territory, so I hope he stands up mentally and comes through.

Quite fancy Dementieva to beat Schiavone. I picked the Italian to beat Wozniacki but I think Dementieva's game matches up well against her.

I think hes improved that this year. Got over the line against big names already this year. Completely different at a slam though...

Ladbrokes have a Foreman decision priced at 8/1. Probably one of those situations where they void the bet but worth a go if you can be arsed. I can't since their site is **** and I can't use my card.

bet on brazil against zimbawe 1-0 2-0 3-0 and gonna back them to score next a few times so if it's 4-0 or zimbawe score I should hopefully make my money back either way, we will see.

TFFP, I actually think Soderling will get past just agasint Berdych but I am now leaning towards backing Bird man after seeing the odds, I no Soderling beat Federer but anyone who watches Tennis week in week out knows that Federer is not playing no where near his best, and Berdych has been very impressive so far quietly going about his business and not dropping a set, both these men have been known as chockers in the past and there H2H is close and there matches have always been nip and tuck in the past.

9/5 for Berdych is too big for me, am gonna have a little wager in this.

I also think Nadal is there for the taking, and Berdych and Soderling on a good day have the sort of game to take it to him, I don't think Nadal has been as good as usual at this years open he is just so foooking good at cold as ice on the big points, Almagro was the dominant player in the first two sets today but as usual Nadal to good when it mattered, Nadal will probably win it but I think he is coming back to the field a little on clay.
