As for the WC - I'll stick to betting in-play on the remaining games. Trading on the Correct Score market has been good to me.

I do think Holland might just **** things up though. 6/1 on Uruguay is big (and drifting) I think or 3/1 on them qualifying. They're without Suarez though. I did a wee trade on the 'Winner' market aswell so I'm just waiting for the ****ing thing to finish now.

Would anyone consider laying off some of a £50 bet @ 9/2 on Spain (£220) to win the World Cup? I'm thinking £100 on Germany at just over 2/1 might be worth while?

That would be painful if Holland came through! I'm seriously lost with who I think will win it now but Germany would be my guess. Do you still like Spain or not? Go with £50 on each of Germany and Holland with a £10 saver on Uruguay if you still like Spain but are worried about it.

TBH I fancy either Spain or Germany to win it (surprise, surprise!), I'm pretty sure I'm going to put £100 on Germany to be up £70 if either of them win the tournament and take the risk on Holland.

if anyone likes a punt then heres a good bet IMO for the semis.
stick a tenner on each of the teams in each semi to win on penalties, in a double i.e.
    holland-spain
    holland-germany
    uruguay-spain
    uruguay-germany
put them in a 4X£10 doubles.
Depending on which bookie you use you will get anything between 8-1 and 10-1 each team. Worse price gets you £810 roughly and best price roughly £1100. These are ballpark figures but they wont be far off the mark. I think its a great sweat and thats what i will be doing. Of course you can do it for whatever you want and your return should be in the region of between 20 and 28-1

Anyone like Lebedev over Alexeev at 8/11?

Seems to be so many parallels with Alexeev's first loss, has he really improved the fundamental issues that caused him to lose that fight by beating a few bums?

Anyone use previous match stats in a system to predict football?
Eng,Scot,Spain,Italy,German,French all available but im trying to track info down for the Tippeligaen and the J league ect
Noticed there is an app for the i phone which does nearly every league but due to my hatred for the phone(well people going on about it)I'd rather stick to getting the info off the net.

Weren't you really big on Alexeev before his loss?

    I think Lebedev will win.

I was but obviously you can't account for **** stamina and heart...he's got the ability but whether he can improve those attributes is debateable. Especially heart obviously, he caved in mentally under pressure.

Since then he's fought the type of guys he was regularly beating up prior to the loss so I don't see what its achieved. Lebedev is too tough.
