Agree with you theres always plenty in the headingley track ... and pakistan have enough in there attack to cause probles Asif when he gets it in the right place is superb and the young lad Aamer we could be talking about as one of the great Pakistani quicks in years to come he looks outstanding...
Pakistan maybe a bit of value cos this aussie side dont look great !

    Geggie

What do I have to do to get me hands on the mersey gloves magazine? Can you PM me? Cheers mate - Steve Bellew

On the Smith v Simpson fight, I think Warren should be commended in putting Swifty in with someone like Simpson so early in his pro career. Obviously the amateurs are different from the pros but Smith has immense amounts of ability and skills.

Simpson will put him under a lot of pressure and will throw a lot of punches, but I see Swifty counter punching his way to a decision and becoming Liverpool's latest champion :D

Can't understand why everyone is so big on Smith.

Simpson will take him into the trenches. Great fight and fair play to Smith if he wins, but why anyone is picking over Simpson, who has built up quite a run since the Appleby fight, and so many predicting a comprehensive victory..just don't get it.

COME ON SIMPSON! (I also like Smith)

I think those odds are reasonable, Simpson is a good fighter at this level and its Smith that has to step up a prove himself in the pro game.

I can't wait for this fight to happen. I'm predicting it could be one of the domestic fights of the year. I have to say I have a lot of admiration for smith taking this fight against such a tough opponent so early. Like most other prospects in britain he could have battered another few journeymen before taking such a fight buy fait play to him for striking while the iron is hot

i've just been looking at smith's record and i'd say the bookmakers would have to have simpson favourite. smith has not fought anybody and simpson has fought almost everybody at this weight domestically. this is not to say smith can't win but bookies have to look at form and past opponents

I have not seen alot of Smith but Simpson seems a real class little fighter and easily my favorite British fighter of current time. Simpson will hopefully get another good win here and I agree with whoever said it earlier that Smith would have been better off with a couple more fights against decent opposition before he stepped up...his record is lacking at the moment.

I don't see anyone outside Liverpool predicting a compehensive victory.

I think Smith wins but it will be close.

    Bates +6.5 legs EVENS

I think Phil could cover that @ 8/11. Tonight I'm watching cricket and avoiding the darts though.

i think smith will win, my only problem is him getting over keen if he gets simpsons hurt and getting caught cold
