Liverpool to beat Arsenal on the opening day is a great bet. Hodgson knows how to play us and we will be without Fabregas and RVP. Basically guaranteed to get turned over there.
Hodgson parks the bus I can not see Liverpool beating Arsenal who always seem to have there number. I would be backing Arsenal in that one probably I think this is their year.
Braga over Celtic was a no brainer. Braga are a solid team, good defence. Celtic are a very very ordinary outfit at this level.
With a bit of luck Morgan will put the final nail in Bell's coffin for the Ashes - Trott's obviously vulnerable, but the Aussies know they can't get to him mentally the way they can the Shermanator.
Overrated attack as suspected. The lad Aamer has indeed been quality but Asif has periods where he has no pace at all and is easier to negate. Gul average. Kaneria well off form. And not just that, they're mental midgets that fall apart when a team gets on top. They get sloppy and let it slip which attacks like South Africa would not.
Not sure mate, King is flat-track bully, people he feels superior to, he beats easily. Bates will have to play as well as he did last week to win. Let's hope he does. Do you know this is live on Bravo?
Really hoping Morgan gets his ton here - the selectors always seem to give players a bit more leeway when they score three figures, and though Pakistan aren't a top team, they're not Bangladesh either. Always thought Shah was a little hard done by not getting a run in the team despite a great knock on his debut in India, though he didn't quite convert - Cook got his first ton that tour though, and he's had no end of chances since, presumably because he's being groomed for the captaincy. But the best way to beat the Aussies is to attack them, and Morgan is as exciting as an emerging Pieterson at the moment.
****ing Akmal dropped Stauss on 15 and Pakistan wasted their referrals on that useless **** Pietersen. Aamer should **** on his 105 points in this first innings alone. Just waiting for the new ball for that. One of the batsman is going to be unlucky to miss out for the Ashes. Not Shah though. His running is poor. That makes it easy for the selectors to overlook him. This referral system is absolute bollocks. You can get the exact same ball but a different result depending on who referred it. Bull****. Just give the correct decision - is it out or not? Simple. What is the point if we're not necessarily getting the correct decision?
