Yeah live on Bravo or some similar channel. There might be some value on some of the chokers in this event.
It really ****s you up when your spinner cannot hold up an end (Kaneria). Then you get Farhat bowling that **** at the end. 1/2 on England is very good at this point.
Yeah, I had a good bet at 4/5 this morning. Hopefully England don't take too long to get into their stride tomorrow, and accelerate toward a declaration around mid afternoon. The Pakistan side never take too long to let their heads drop, I can see them rolling over on Saturday morning.
Strauss will bat on and on if they can. Probably rightly so to be fair. Good forecast tomorrow. Even if England collapse in a heap and only manage 400 odd, that's a good score on this wicket. I managed to get a small amount matched at about 1.86. I'll see how I am after tonight's darts. I've gone for some value with Caven and Bates. Also a Whitlock/Walsh double. All proceeds likely to go on England (now 1.51)
Yeah Morgan was a masterstroke by the selectors to be fair, reminds me of the Fletcher Trescothick pick. Even his one day record whilst good at domestic level doesn't say 'absolutely pick me - I can't be left out'. So to pick him and then get the performances at one day level, identify his talent there and in the nets and to take a punt on a player with little first class background is very impressive and its not often I say that about our selectors. It's not just stats, they're the best indicator but its about more than that too - ask Mark Ramprakash.
Went out this evening. Only saw the Pie Man first up then Walsh. Then checked my P&L just now:shock:Clean sweep Send Barrie my best:good I wasn't slating your post or anything by saying Shah is done. I feel for him. He'll continue to be a good performer for Middlesex. He's a good player but when you consider that he doesn't bowl, isn't a standout fielder and he runs his own team mates out regularly:verysad. I'm a fan of Bell. Warne was saying it'll probably be between Cook and Trott if Bell is to get in and if Cook goes then Trott will open. Doubt that though (barring injury). I think this top 6 will be the top 6 for the start of The Ashes. BTW, too much is made of Pietersen's dip in form. He's still averaging almost 40 in tests in 2010 (granted quite a few have been vs Bangladesh). He should come good soon enough. He went OK in the T20 WC IIRC and that wasn't too long ago.
Flat Track Bully? Graeme Hick might belong in the same category too? Or maybe it is just a genuine mystery
No worries - and I agree about Pietersen. The collosal hump he's been carrying around with him since losing the captaincy goes away completely with a successful tour of Oz, and you get the feeling that's where his focus solely lies. I'm less worried about his run rate this year than the fact he generally rises to the big occasion, whereas Bell seems to shrink from the biggest challenges, great technique or not. That's where the selectors seem to be getting it more right than wrong these days - they weigh temperament almost as highly as ability - Hick and Ramprakash were obviously fine batsmen, but mentally they couldn't cut it on the biggest stage, albeit in a much weaker side than the present-day England.
http://www.oddschecker.com/rugby-league/club-rugby/super-league/leeds-rhinos-v-wigan-warriors/winner Good bet is 11/10 for Wigan to beat Leeds. Wigan are in top form and Leeds have players coming back from injury so surely won't be match fit. Hows the weather looking in Leeds, Beeston Brawler, because if its dry I am even more sure of a Wigan win.
This is the understatement of the year Pretty much agree with all that you've put - Leeds laboured like **** against a shitty Salford side last week (31-22 thanks to Sinfield). Nice and dry, I reckon Wigan by 10.
