I hate this time of year. Nothing to bet on Friday night fights ends which was always one step away from a lottery anyway, no grand slams anytime soon in tennis, football season over until a few weeks and even when that starts first few games and very hard to bet on moreso with the world cup.

the 49ers r great value in there divison the only danger is the cardinals who lost there qb warner this year and dansby to the phins so i agree they are massive to win there divison.
i have the bengals to finish second behind the improving ravens who may go all the way this season imo

i backed green bay to win there divison you can still get even money which will get shorter now brett has retired(allegedly) from the vikings.

a good bet to have is with betfred they have a market on the total number of games each team will win in a season incase your interested ive gone browns to win under 6 games 10//11, eagles to win under 9 games evens and bengals to win over 7.5 games 4/6.

3 match ban for Carl Ablett but he is appealing, I can't see him overturning the ban completely, maybe get a game or two knocked off.

So looks like he is out of the game on Saturday.

Ajax are 7/2 in play against PAOK, 1-0 down after half hour.

Worth £10 at the very least.

I have an obsession with favre so I never bet for against him. He isn't done yet and he wouldn't pass on sticking it to the packers two more times. I like green bay but the Vikings are stronger (er with favre) and what with ap and an improving d I think they can win the division.

I'm not sold on the ravens. Flaco will have a dip at some point and the rest of the team is aging.

I'm glad that there is somebody else who likes NFL, it's good too talk about it without people rolling eyes at me

know wat u mean about nfl theres such a stigma with it in the uk it really amazes me wen i go to the game at wembley wat a large underground following the game has over here
according to most sources favre s ankle is has not responded as he had hoped so he may comebak but i cannot see him playin much the season if at all and at 41 time aint on his side
did u check out my over and under bets in my previous post i would be interested to hear your thoughts

All I hear is that they are pussys for wearing pads

The eagles bet is all dependent on kolb. Can he perform as a starter with the press in Philly? I'm not sure but he dies have good targets with Jackson and the tight end ;who names escapes)

not sure about the browns as they seen to have a couple of odd results in a season, they are strong on special teams so that could win them a couple.

The bengals are a good bet as long as they don't have any season ending injuries and they can keep the egos in check.

What team do follow? I'm a titans fan

This weekends dish in the NRL has to be Melbourne Storm 11/8 at the Brookvale oval against Manly Seaeagles... Storm have been playing well despite having nothing to play for and have class from 1 to 13 ..... Manly have been awful and have no playmaker directing traffic on the pitch since Orford left . Hodkinson seems to have gone flat and there normal powerhouse forward pack look very tame . They were totally outplayed against a Knights side who played well but are no premiership contenders .

Also for a bit of interest Roosters 11/10 , Broncos 4/7 and Knights EVs ...worth a pony treble i reckon but pile into a single on the storm at 11/8.

Been having a look at betfred for the NFL and here are some good value bets

    Week 1 games

Dolphins 8/13 to beat the Bills, 20/23 with -3 h/c
The Bills could end up with the wooden spoon this year so I cant see them beating a divisional rival.

Titans are evens to beat the Raiders with a -7 h/c
The Raiders are a joke and what Chris Johnson and an improving Vince Young, I think this is great value

49ers are 4/6 to beat the seahawks and 10/11 with a hc of -2.5

    Total wins

    Bengals over 7.5 8/13
    Falcons over 9 8/11
    49ers over 8.5 4.6

I know training camp hasnt started yet and some teams will be weakened with injuries but I think I could make a healthy profit on these

im with you on the phins(thats my team) versus the bills they were awful last season and have made some reaaly strange draft picks also the 49ers to beat the seahawks looks a good thing as does over 42.5 points in the bears lions games neither team have a defence and both have quaterbacks who love to move the ball in the air thus plenty of points and turnovers cutler is king of turnovers.and the total has gone over 4out of 6 times in the past few years.
.i cant be with you on the raiders i think campbell is a big improvement on the awful russell and whilst they wont beat the titans i reckon it may be aunder a one score game.

with regards to your totals im with you on both the flalcons and bengals i reckon the 49ers will go over 8.5 but they are better value to win the divison at 5/6 than 4/6 to go over 8.5 as if they win 9 games they win the divison imo.

My 3 week 1 game tips just to win without a handycap look a good treble. £1 gets you a return of £3.50 (cant be bothered to work out the odds)

Betfred are doing the match you first bet offer upto £50 so I might put £50 on that which will get me £175 inc stake and my free bet on the 49ers for the divisions which is evens. Happy days if they come through
