If you use betting exchanges like Betfair you can back someone using the blue boxes and bet against them using the purple ones.

Say if you put £100 on Liverpool vs Arsenal being a draw at 5/2, at half time the price will be like 6/4 or something..... pick the purple box and enter your stake and it will show the summary of your bets on the event.

That way you can make sure you win about £30 profit regardless of the outcome.

Pretty much what I did with the Leeds game, but with lower stakes
