I think the hail mary hope for Pietersen is that he turns up in Australia ready for the scrap and somehow flicks a switch to be good again. But yeah, to me he looks like someone who simply doesn't play very much cricket anymore. The knives will quickly be out for Cook if he can't better his current record against Aus. Not sure who else there is though, dropping Cook would probably mean a major reshuffle with Trott moving up to open, because I suspect they don't really fancy Carberry and it's a couple of years too soon for someone like Lyth. Apparently the reason for getting that Australian bowling coach was for him to teach them a bit about bowling with the Kookaburra and in Aus conditions. Let's hope he's good at his job because it won't matter who they pick if Anderson serves up his usual turds when it isn't swinging, while Broad lobs down his 5 million variations of bull****. I've actually got a hunch Swann is going to get battered over there, hope I'm wrong like.
Pietersen doesn't seem to give two shits about cricket. He just went out there and had a waft today knowing full well the ball was moving and he's not in good nick. Plonker Has Morgan really been that loose? Looks to have edged a few. His technique could be questioned but I don't think he's lacked discipline neccessarily, he's nicked off a few times playing defensively. The team is absolutely nailed on to be this but Bell in for Morgan. Only questionble thing is who our backup bowlers will be. Bresnan or Shahzad, and who the backup spinner will be. Steady eddie Tredwell which would be a boring choice as a second offspinner or Rashid, or dare I say it....Monty.
I was driving about earlier and listening to Test Match Special and Boycott was in the chair and was saying that Pietersen needs to stop talking to the media. He's so open, tells everybody everything. Just get away and graft, 2nd team cricket, league cricket, anything. Plenty of finger spinners have suffered in Australia, Murali even bitched out of going about five years ago using being called for throwing previously as an excuse. Swann isn't the type to get down over something though.... he's a bit like Shane Warne in that he's always battling and looking to get the batsman out - you see too many spinners just bowling negative if they don't get wickets straight away. The back up seamers should be Shahzad and Bresnan for me..... Shahzad seems a bit raw, Bresnan is too thick to be intimidated by anyone - trust me on that one :yep Panesar is done, his bowling is repetitive and batting/fielding-wise he's village level..... Tredwell isn't far off him bowling and elsewhere he's miles ahead. Rashid needs a run of games..... but playing two spinners hasn't ever been a realistic option in England and Swann is obviously the man.... it might end up passing him by.
I have an account with Blue Square, it will let me bet on Martinez on any rd against Burns, but I want a specific bet on winning by stoppage, it wont let me. Which is the best bookies to have an account with regarding betting with boxing?
There is no best, the best is the one with the best odds for the fight. oddschecker.com is your friend
sportingbet is the best and for obscure fights you cant beat bet365, although they only offer winner/over, under for lesser known fights
I don't bet much, but on the odd occassion a fancy a little wager, i use Bodog. Just google the words "bodog" and you'll see their complete address has the word "life" after that. Completely legitimate, been having an account there for 5 years. Margarito at +205 and Cotto at -265 at one point was sweet! they have proposition wagers, can make even more greenbacks on prop bets like "will a ko happen" etc.
This is what you call batting for your career...... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Anr8P76Lt4[/ame]
I really hope so. Anyone found any betting sites with actual round/method betting? I can't find any, even on oddschecker.
http://www.oddschecker.com/other-sports/combat-sports/ufc/james-toney-v-randy-couture/round-betting http://www.oddschecker.com/other-sports/combat-sports/ufc/james-toney-v-randy-couture/round-betting 5/1 to one on an old school bad ass like James Toney with near bare knuckles? I don't know **** about it and it might be 10 or 20 down the drain but that seems just fine to me for the chance of 5x my money. James Toney will win !
TFFP, Is that 5's for a stoppage or is that round betting? I cant access gambling sites on the works computer.
No 5/1 for James Toney to win, period. To me its a fight in a cage, forget this MMA bollocks its just a ****ing fight thats all it is. Anytime I can get 5/1 on a guy like James Toney with tiny ****ing gloves I'm okay with that. It's worth somewhere in the region of £10-20. I mean I'm not going to have a huge risk on something I don't have huge knowledge over, its just a hunch and good value. Put it this way would I take a tenner from a mate and pay out 50 if Toney wins...would I bollocks !
Cheers mate. I'm pretty skint atm, so I'm only gonna have a fiver punt on Toney at 5's, and cover it with £6 on Couture in 1 at SkyBet.
