WGC Champions golf tmt starting on Thursday - Ernie Els 24/1 on betfair and Danny Willett 100/1 both back and lay in running.... Els won nicely last time up and Willetts being playing consistently well on the european tour . Both could go well early doors in a very classy field...

    RUBIN KAZAN vs PANATHINAIKOS

    Betting on: under 2.5 goals

Russian champion Rubin Kasan lost their opening match away to Kopenhagen 0-1 and than managed two draws against Barcelona (1-1) and away to Panathinaikos (0-0).
With two points they need a win to get their chances alive to rech the knock out stage and overcame second placed Kopenhagen, who already have six points.

Panathinaikos lost their other two matches against Kopenhagen (0-2) and Barca (1-5) and with only one point they only have slim chances to reach the second round and if they loose this match third place would also be out of reach.

It is unlikely to be a goal-fest if previous form is to be factored into play.
Kasan managed only 5 overs in 26 league matches and they conceded only 4 goals in 13 matches at home. :happy

Any thoughts for tonights champions league?

Both Spurs and Inter are 17/10.

Looks like RVDV will be fit for Spurs which is a bonus for them. Milito is back but Ceasar and Cambiasso might both be out. I think that Spurs could get turned over tonight as Inter are just a better team (I am a Goon, so I could be biased) Concerned about the home field advantage though.

Also, Manchester United are 3/4 away at Bursaspor. I will be honest, I know **** all about Bursaspor but United seem good value.

Trying to build a nice pot for the weekend so a good value bet is needed.

I've gone for a low stake 5 fold:

Rubin Kazan V Panathinaikos - Russians are a very strong team at home and the Greeks typically don't travel well.
Man Utd V Bursaspor under 2.5 goals - Tight game last time around and I'm still not convinced by Man U at the minute. A lot of young players in attacking areas who could struggle in a hostile environment in Europe
Copenhagen V Barcelona - Copenhagen aren't a bad team but Barca are coming off a big win and should be able to break them down at some point.
Valencia V Rangers - Simply believe Valencia will have too much class, although recent form is a slight concern (but then again Rangers drew with ICT last time out )
Auxerre V Ajax - Auxerre play lovely football when they are on song and they've picked up 3 wins in their last 3 games since losing in Holland 2-1. Could be close again but at 8/5 represents good value imo.

Somewhere in the region of 12.5/1

Bursaspor have been really bad. Their best result has been at Old Trafford and that was more to do with Man Utd playing **** than them doing anything particularly good imo. Man Utd seem to be getting back into decent form so I'm going for them.

Like the look of overs and both teams to score in the Spurs - Inter game, perhaps even a small bet on a Spurs win as well. They were battered for 20 mins at the San Siro but the second half would've given them confidence and with a loud home crowd you never know.

Schalke at evens look a good price but they have been playing bad lately and the trip might be a bit much for them.

    I was thinking 5 fold -

    Rubin - 8/13
Valencia - 2/5 (-1 goes to 11/10 but they have been lacking lately)
    Barcelona - 2/5
    Schalke - 21/22
    Arsenal tomorrow - 11/8

I know nothing of Shakhtar of late but Fabregas is set to miss the clash. Not suggesting that should change your bet but just in case you didn't know.

Didn't know that about Fab. Would say Arsenal still should have enough but I might reconsider it now  Cheers

What do people think of Rees/Watson? Rees between 10-12 or make it a bit wider with 7-12?

Those are good picks bro.... i done something simular to you.....

CSKA vs. Palermo - CSKA won the away leg by 3 goals, and dont know if you know or not, but the Russian season is over, so the Russians are real well rested and don't have to worry about excess amount of games. Palermo are coming of 3 losses, conceding 6 and only scoring 2.

Benifica 0 Handicap vs. Lyon - Lyon are in real bad form right now. and it doesn't help that their best attacking options are missing too, (Lopez and Bastos are out due to injury). Benifica are second in the Portuguese league, and thier home record is fantastic with 5 wins and 0 losses and 10 goals scored and 0 conceded. I took the 0 handicap cause Lyon might be durable enough to take a draw.

Auxerre 0 Handicap vs. Ajax - Auxerre are showing much much better form now that they have learned to adapted without their best sniper, Ireneusz Jelen. Auxerre are comming off a real good away win vs. a tough PSG side, and Nice. I took the 0 handicap, cause I think Ajax are durable enough to get a draw.

Rubin over Pana - your reasoning is good enough for me!

    10 will land you 65

the Valencia pick is the only one that concerns me..... cause i seen them play not to long ago and they looked pretty vulnerable....but your other picks look solid to me bro

dont take Schalke bro, they are in real bad form....... Israeli team or not, I wouldnt bet on them even if they were playing a Azerbajani team. I smell a 1-1 or 0-0 draw vs. the Isreals

Zenit St Petersburg at 14/1 is a good shout to win the Europa leauge. I personally pick them to win the whole thing.

 I've got CSKA in another line for the EUROPA League KillerDeluxe. Good scouting. :good

Agree that Valencia are a slightly poor pick at the price but I'm hoping that class will show in the end.
