Tomic over Chardy 18/19 - Slight underdog but he's in much better form hence the close odds when you would expect Jeremy to be a bigger favourite over the wildcard. He picked up good wins coming into this event over Kunitsyn, Berrer and Kubot who surprised a few with his win over Querrey. Chardy has had a miserable start to the year losing to Andreev and crucially to my pick here the average Kavcic which really shows the Frenchman's form. Also home support could inspire Tomic here. As for the value, I don't think this is great value because Chardy playing well wins, I'm just predicting.

Lopez over Falla 4/7 - Battle of the lefties here, see no reason not to go with the favourite. Both been up and down so far in Australia, Lopez having the better of the form with a close one against Del Potro and a win over the solid German Petschzner but suffering a heavy defeat to the powerful Kevin Anderson. Falla only has wins over Machado which is nothing to shout about and losses to the shocking Guccione and Nishikori. Lopez has more power, better form, this match is totally in his favor.

Mayer over Schwank 5/4 - Mayer had a shocking season on the grass and afterwards last year, losing every match he played and hasn't played since August. However, he deserves big credit for defeating Davydenko here. Schwank has no real form to speak of losing to Guccione and Tipsarevic so I'm baffled by the odds here. Mayer is the player you'd pick without any research, with the confidence he'll have gained from a big win, and the lack of any reason to pick Schwank, I will take Florian.

I'll do more later, I really can't be assed right now. It's actually more time consuming than expected researching this ****.

Loving the Tomic bet myself mate looks a good bet, when I saw that price I wanted a bit of the action.

Fancy a small double on Dolgopolov and Zakopalova in the womens, Zakopalova only beat her opponent last week in straights and is a nice 3/4 on looks decent.

Ah its ****ing Leonardo. Amateur mistake :rofl

Funnily enough the form logic is still correct as I was researching the **** Mayer, he did have a close one with Del Potro. Unfortunately the real Mayer actually beat Del Potro and now Davydenko

Aye it's confusing this tennis lark these days. I always get Sandra Zahlavova and Barbara Zahlavova-Strycova mixed up. They're both about the same level as well which makes it even harder.

I'm on Chela tonight to beat Llodra and hopefully Marchenko wins to complete a treble.

2 out of 2 for me with my third looking good.

I was about two minutes from winning a nice chunk on Hewitt.

Had £50 in my Betfair, then he got the first break in the 3rd set..... went from evens to 2/5, shoved it on anyway and laid off after the set and won about £7.

If I'd been on just a bit earlier I'd have had £30 odd extra for the footy tonight.
