Pascal only had one arm and Diaconu couldn't still couldn't do anything. Chad has all the tools to box him to pieces then get the Pascal rematch ON! I am not sure about the decision bet I think he will come out motivated tonight seeing as Pascal is on the main event. Do not rule out a stunning early stoppage for Chad.

 

Cleverly on points on a Warren card with the likes of Dave Parris not doubt involved and a european journeyman has all the makings of a terrible stoppage. If it goes the distance though you can relax.

I think Cleverly will get his man out of there, he's been stopped twice by light hitters and is on two day's notice. His last two opponents have been six round level guys.

Dawson hasn't stopped anyone in a while, though all his opponents have been durable. Points is the bet for me I think.

Change that to Cleverly inside six rounds and it's 90/1.

 

Link doesn't work. I think I am just gonna go for Dawson win at 1.3 won't pay much. And the Steward factor will be there. But French Open is next week and will make a lot from that. Nadal has gone from 1.6 to win to 2.2 after the Djok streak.

Pays ~50/1. If you make Cleverly 1-6 rounds it's 90/1. Saying that there ain't a lot of difference between 1/3 and 4/6, if I'm being cautious with Hopkins I may as well be with Dawson too.

Tennis isn't my strongpoint, I'm alright with individual matches but I don't bother trading.

 

I like the look of that one though don't trust the Degale fight to go to decision or stoppage either way need to have a sit down and have a look through and will post my own.

 

I might change that to stoppage actually, thinking about it.

I watched Groves vs Anderson yesterday on Sky Sports.... **** me with a couple of weeks more notice Kenny would have gotten Groves out of there.

The only thing making me go for decision is that DeGale isn't really a heavy handed puncher like Anderson..... but equally Groves doesn't have the legs to take him 12 rounds.

Tough one.

 

I am leaving that fight well alone lol. You got to think Groves must have some kind of idea of how to beat DeGale and Booth can implement game plans well. Its a lot like gamboa lopez few years back everyone said lopez beats him now a few fight later and its completely switched after some bad performances.

 

I don't think Booth is the right trainer for Groves though.

Watch him against Anderson, dancing around the ring like a chicken with his chin in the air, getting tagged with hard shots.

Booth was telling him to move and box but it was moving and boxing that caused him to gas out

He was much better when he planted his feet and threw bombs, especially the body shots.

If he tries that boxing and moving stuff against DeGale he'll be out on his feet after five rounds, regardless of what DeGale lands on him. His only chance is to stand in the centre of the ring and let his hands go.

I like Groves but this fight has come too soon for him. Look at his body language, I know The Dark One likes all that stuff but Groves just looks like he's on the way to the gallows.

 

i think degale will stop groves. He'll probably land clean and first all night. i say 7 round stoppage for degale who shows clearly on the night that he is the much more improved boxer out of the two.

 

Groves body language is ok, it's just he's going to be out of his depth in boxing ability when he's in the ring with degale. He's going to be hit too clean, too often in this one.

If Degale can stop Smith you have to think he will be capable of stopping Groves but then again its a bit of an unknown quantity.

 

Not sure about that. Thats a seriously risky game to be playing, especially for Wolves. Obviously as the afternoon progresses and the news from other grounds come through, then depending on whether those results are favourable for both teams then an agreement will most likely be made

 

Hmm.... if that game finishes level at least one of Wigan or Blackpool would have to win by two goals to send Wolves down.

I think it's worth a punt at 11/5.
