^^ Odds yeah. The fraction system is by far the best but they are all a ******* to explain. Besides, online betting is foolproof. That's how they make their money, its dangerously easy. You can put the amount you want to bet into the betslip and it will tell you your potential winnings. Just watch for the ones that try the sly trick of including your stake in the final total. I'd advise betting in the shop as a newbie, you are less likely to do something stupid when its cold hard cash you are handing over and not the exchange of electronic data.
thanks well explained. so for example if i put a tenna on John Thaxton 2 win against Murray at 9/2 i'll win 45pound right?
Not really, Thaxton's looked like bollocks in his last 3, 4 maybe 5 outings. That's why he's at very long odds. Having said that, betting small stake high risk bets that you think are smart is preferable to piling on 'Gimme' fights at like 1/8. There is always a time that kind of strategy bites you on the ass but so many people do it ! But hey, its your money and your belief. Its all about the value, if you think Thaxton has a better chance than the odds suggest and can afford to lose the stake it might be worth a go.
Always worth keeping a check on this guys videos and advice for betting on boxing. He has a good track record. http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=dwyer70905&view=videos
Of course. If you are trying to earn 'free' money it usually doesn't work out if you do your math. The only way it can sometimes be done is by covering every fight outcome (including points/KO). And even then it takes a fairly large bet to make a small profit, and you take the risk it doesn't end a draw. But yeah, there is nothing to stop you betting whatever you want wherever you want.
Shakhtar Donetsk over Partizan Belgrade, Toulouse over Brugge, Galtasaray over SK Sturm Graz, Hamburg over Hapoel Tel Aviv 50$ to win 100$ Im 9 - 3 in my last 12 bets...
