I've gone for Moore KO at 10/11 backed up by Napa PTS at 6/4.

    4.75/1

Betfred are offering 7/2 on Bayaar by KO over Edwards, sticking a bit on that as well.

Bet365 are my bookie of choice. Their prices are always somewhere between middling and decent but I love the In-play markets. Some of the boxing prices are barmy. Quite often a fight will look even at half way but for some reason the underdog beforehand will go out to 4/1. You can also bet on the pts/KO during play, which is great because you have the chance to analyse the fight, you can see what is coming.

    I was thinking Moore in 1-3 13/2 and 4-6 4/1

i think Moore will hit the body early and Rhodes is going to feel it bad

I think Bet365 do their research better than other bookies when it comes to boxing - that's why their prices are generally middle of the market.

It seems a lot of others just look at Boxrec and take it from there..... there have been a few steals this year that come to mind immediately, Booth to stop Hunter 4/1 (some people got 5/1) for example.

That 5/1 was on Bet365, right at the last moment.

There is always a trend in boxing markets, if you are betting on the favourite by anything 4/6 or shorter you want to do it as early as possibe. They very rarely if ever go longer. And vice-versa, it often pays to wait on an underdog.

    Extenuating circumstances :p

    Europa
    ----------

Benfica to beat Everton at 5/6 looks fair. I think Everton are injury ravaged.

Roma 17/10 to beat Fulham. Hodgson might put out another second string team, even if he doesn't Roma should be favoured.

They are about the only decent prices in there. Might do a double chance accumulator on a few of these.

I'm on Nappa PTS at 6/4 but wasn't sure about the value in the other two.

Anyone going for anything in the Europa cup tonight? I'm on Twente and Bruges but looking for a couple more still

    Circumstances such as fanboyism?

Jesus I saw some crazy requests in the bookies before the Floyd and Pac fights. Some guy asked the man what he had for Hatton KO12.... bloke just looked at him blank and said erm.... 40/1. Go on then, I'll have a tenner :nut.

I could understand people going for a Hatton early stoppage, but not a late one, just didn't make any sense.

    -------------

I might run with those two that you listed above, not taking too many risks on teams I know next to nothing about.

Rich - Moore KO 10/11 is a good bet, I wouldn't let that slip mate :good

I looked at Roma but their form in the the league isn't great. Do you know what they've been like away from home in Europe in recent years (when they've been in)?

Well they weren't too good when they got dicked by United 8-1  They've been in the Champions League the last few seasons and never made it out of the group stage.

Still think they have more than enough quality for Fulham. Totti, Vucinic, Pizzaro, Taddei, De Rossi, Mexes. I'm taking the Roma OR draw at 1/2 in my accumulator.

Totti is out mate. Fulham are in bits though. Celtic vs Hamburg looks easy money to me.

    :rofl Forgot about that!

Sounds a decent bet. Can't help but think about Hodgson's Italian ties and how big a game it is for Fulham (as a club) though.

I'm considering those wankers BATE again even though they so disapointed me against Everton after having the lead for so long. Home to AEK, AEK looked a complete shambles against Everton.
